History

Welcome to Apex Continuum!

We’re a casual group of gamers who want to log in to the universe after a long day’s work.Put your helmet on, leave your worries at the airlock, and fly through the stars. Our weekly meeting is each Saturday at 3:30pm Eastern time (18:30 London time). Attendance is encouraged but not required.

Apex was founded on January 21st, 2014. We’ve watched Star Citizen grow from concept art to a living universe and eagerly await Chris Roberts’ vision of the Best Damn Space Sim coming to fruition Soon™! We have no plans to 30k as a group!

Who are we in-universe?

Apex is a corporate-themed group of freelance agents who travel the universe, providing services ranging the full gambit of gameplay loops. Agents chart their own course for destiny and profit, knowing Apex Continuum has their back when the stakes get high. While lawfully chartered under UEE jurisdiction, leadership turns a blind eye to the shenanigans of lovable rogues like Han Solo and Malcolm Reynolds.

Why join Apex Continuum?

Because you want to be part of a group large enough to experience the full breadth of what Star Citizen has to offer yet small enough that everybody knows your name. We cap our roster at 200 members and aim to be Star Citizen’s premier mid-sized guild. Gaming is better with friends! When we’re not in the verse, you can find us playing a variety of games together and hanging out.

Manifesto

Our organization is made up of three equally important groups.

Agents are the membership at large. Free to pursue the various activities that Apex Continuum has to offer, you are also welcome to take initiative in setting up your own gaming events. Our guiding principles are that fun is better with friends and leadership transcends rank.

Officers are responsible for the everyday operation of Apex Continuum, such as handling recruitment and publicity drives, maintaining common infrastructure, and helping facilitate events for Agents. All officers operate in the name of the Chief Executive, the prime officer who has the authority to appoint and remove junior officers as needed.

Directors are an oversight board responsible for appointing the Chief Executive and presiding over disciplinary actions.

We hold these basic requirements for members of Apex Continuum:

Conversational proficiency in English
At least 18 years of age. (waived for children of existing members)
APEXINC should be set as your main Organization on the Roberts Space Industries / Spectrum website.
Affiliate status with Piracy oriented Organizations is prohibited.
Griefing is prohibited.
Members are expected to be respectful in and out of the game.
