Star Citizen is shaping up to be on the greatest games possible. It stands above many that have come before it, in addition to having heaps of expectations thrown upon it’s shoulders. However, any intelligent gamer can tell you, an MMO is not a sum of its Gameplay, but a sum of the communities that make up the Game.

Despite the hate by many withing the Star Citizen community, Eve is still quite a legend, and that legend lives because of the people who make up the eve community. The espionage, the intrigue, the backstabbing and the friendships that make up what is deemed “The Meta” of Eve is really what makes otherwise fairly dry Gameplay a sweet champagne of enjoyment.

PAX comes from Eve, but draws upon from many other games from broad Genres. From Arma 3’s obsessive organization to Garry’s Mods creative uniqueness every Game has a lesson it can teach the industry as a whole. PAX approaches this at a community level and as a whole, attempts to take the skill-set and the passions of it’s members to every scenario and apply them accordingly. This mantra of ‘enjoy and excel’ at everything is exactly why we as a group are so excited for Star Citizen.
