Bio
Born on Orison's lower pads, Mint grew up in the shadow of Crusader's cloudline, hauling crates through the cramped freight elevators of a warehouse that never seemed to close. It was honest work, but it was small work — until the day a routine delivery run took him to the drydocks at August Dunlow Spaceport, where the Idris class UEES Castra sat gutted and half-repaired, her armor plating peeled back like a broken promise.
Mint stood on that gantry longer than the job required, staring up at a ship half the size of Providence Platform, and something in him rearranged itself permanently. He never made another cargo run. Within the month he'd signed his UEEN enlistment papers, chasing a dream most starmen would call insane: to helm the biggest, slowest, most unstoppable ships in the verse — and never once wish they moved faster.
He figures speed is for people who haven't found what they're looking for yet.
