She was found and rescued by Papa Gnome, who nursed her back to health and shared stories of Avalon and the Vanduul, deepening her resolve.
Following the Vanduul's devastating invasion which led to the burning of the Blood Oak and decimated the gnomes, Vidette, driven by vengeance and Papa Gnome's teachings, vowed to defeat the Vanduul.
