Developed by RSI’s eminent Applied Innovations division in Kilian, this remotely operated, rail-mounted turret sports Size 3 repeaters and can be configured for offensive or defensive use. The convertible nature of the turret also offers unprecedented range and coverage in dogfights and combat scenarios.
A quartet of gimballed Size 2 laser repeaters and 8 Size 2 missiles round out the Scorpius’ formidable weapons package, making it one of the most heavily armed fighters in its class.
With two distinct wing configurations, the Scorpius is built to maximize efficiency, cruising speed, and combat maneuver proficiency while flying, and to minimize its profile while landed.
From the depths of RSI’s Applied Innovations labs, the Scorpius has arrived, ready to change the game by raising the bar on heavy combat and assault.Download the BrochureRead the brochure
With raw numbers like this it's easy to see how RSI is taking ship-to-ship combat and interception to the next level with the Scorpius.
The RSI Scorpius is being offered for the first time as a limited vehicle concept pledge. This means that the vehicle is in development but it is not yet ready to display in your Hangar or to drive in Star Citizen. It will be available as playable content in a later patch. The Warbond pledges shown here include Lifetime Insurance on the vehicle hull. In the future, the vehicle price may increase and Lifetime Insurance or any extras may not be available. If you pledge towards a Scorpius, you will also receive a loaner vehicle for use in Star Citizen until such time as the Scorpius is included in-game. This loaner vehicle will be a currently playable vehicle of similar approximate size and/or function to the Scorpius. We offer pledge ships to help fund Star Citizen’s development. The funding received from events such as this allows us to include deeper features in the Star Citizen world. These ships will be available for in-game credits and/or will be otherwise earnable through play in the final universe. They are not required to start or succeed at the game.
