CitizenCon 2949 approaches and we could not be more excited to celebrate Star Citizen and its community together in Manchester, England this November.
This week, we’ll kick off wave 1 of CitizenCon tickets alongside an update to the CitizenCon website, providing some additional information about this year’s event.

Yes, we will release additional tickets at a later date.
Yes. It’s 100% free to watch the livestream – we will be broadcasting live at www.twitch.tv/starcitizen. Rebroadcasting is permitted.
No, each person may only acquire one CitizenCon ticket.
Please remember to bring your printed ticket (or a digital copy stored on your mobile device) and your photo ID. If you have a Citizen Card or any Star Citizen and Squadron 42 clothing or accessories, we encourage you to wear/bring them.
Heck yea! Cosplay is encouraged. Local laws and venue restrictions do prohibit prop weapons though, so please leave those at home.
We also may have some cool things in store for those of you who choose to attend in cosplay, including a contest with prizes!
Yes, all attendees must be 18 or older.
No, this year’s event only has one ticket type.

No, you must be a backer in order to acquire a CitizenCon ticket.
No, tickets are non-transferrable.
No, CitizenCon tickets are not purchasable via store credit.
Yes, the venue and all areas of CitizenCon 2949 are fully wheelchair accessible. You can read more about this here.
We will have a selection of food and drink vendors throughout the venue. Please keep in mind that the venue does not permit outside food and beverages to be brought inside.
Yes, all attendees will be encouraged to store their belongings in the visitor’s coat check. That said, we strongly discourage attendees from bringing large bags.
The Main Stage CitizenCon panels will have enough seats for every attendee. Second Stage events have limited seating on a first-come first-served basis, but all panels will be reposted to the official Star Citizen YouTube channel after the event. There will be no assigned seating.
You can bring a seat/stool for the queue outside, but these would need to be checked in to our coat check upon entry.
Yes.
In general, photography and recording are encouraged. However, there may be some areas and aspects of the event that are off-limits in that regard throughout the day. Clear indication of areas where photography is not permitted will be found on-site.
Tickets may be canceled up to 30 days before the event and refunded for store credit. No refunds will be granted within 30 days of the event.
