Over the weekend we shared some new renders of the Drake Interplanetary Caterpillar transport with the community at DragonCon and now we’d like to post them for everyone to enjoy. These renders, by artist Jim Martin, should give you a good idea of the look we’re going for with the ‘Cat!

The concept behind the Caterpillar is that it’s the Freelancer’s “evil twin,” a pirate-oriented transport capable of tractoring in all varieties of ill-gotten loot. Mean and modular are the watchwords here.
