November 2949 Subscriber Promotions

SUBSCRIBERS

It’s November. It’s a busy month with CitizenCon and the Anniversary coming. Let’s waste no time getting to the Subscriber Promotions from the month, shall we?

Terrapins Galore! This month, in celebration of Anvil’s sponsorship of CitizenCon, we’ve made the Anvil Terrapin available to fly for all Subscribers through our Ship of the Month program. It’s your chance to experience this tough little explorer and visit the farthest corners of the Stanton System.

There’s also the Subscriber Vault that continues to bring behind-the-scenes looks at the development of ships like the RSI Mantis, updated looks at Microtech fashion and more, as well as Jump Point magazine, last month gave us our deepest and most detailed look yet at the current development of Server Object Container Streaming. Articles like this are part of our new initiative to find content for Jump Point best suited to the printed, periodical format, like our Visual Guide to Starter Ships and helpful charts and diagrams about the various Harvestables and Weapon Attachments found in ‘verse.

We’re also continuing to push our In-Game Rewards in new and exciting ways, with this month offering Subscribers access to the first non-monocle eyewear made available in the persistent universe. We’re committed to making our In-Game Rewards as unique and special to the Star Citizen experience as we can, and the reaction so far has been even better than we’d hoped.

With that, let’s run down some of the specifics happening this month.

IN-GAME REWARDS (FLAIR)

The In-Game Rewards for November are two collections of 2949 stylish eyewear from Element Authority, a popular distributor of such wares in the persistent universe. NOTE: These eyewear are 100% cosmetic, and do not affect or alter the vision of any character wearing them.

Urban Collection by Element Authority – Glasses with a bit of class. The Urban Collection of fashionable frames from Element Authority is ideal eyewear for everywhere from your ship to the trendiest city street. Styles of glasses included are the Sarrab, the Ectio and the AvantX.

Current Centurion Subscribers get the following three items in the Urban Collection above as part of their subscription.

The Sarrab are stylish half-rim glasses that are so light you’ll forget you’re wearing them. Ideal for everyday use, these glasses feature clear polycarbonate temple arms that complement the lens without demanding too much attention.

Fashion and function merge with the Ectio glasses from Fiore. Adjustable temple arms provide the perfect fit to sit snugly in the ear, while crystal-tempered lenses guarantee a clear view under almost any atmospheric condition.

A distinct one piece lens with a unique geometric design makes the AvantX glasses stand out from the crowd. SPV expertly blends cutting edge style and technology for a distinct look and feel that’s fashion forward.

Adventurer Collection by Element Authority – Adventure in style with this collection of eyewear designed to survive harsh environments, including the Avalos Scout, Haruspec and Aponte Explorer style goggles.

Current Imperator Subscribers get all six items in both the Adventurer and Urban Collections above as part of their subscription.

Tech meets tough with the Avalos Scout goggles. Their unique and sturdy frame ensures that the lenses remain intact even after unexpected impacts or sudden atmospheric changes. Built for harsh environments but bold enough to be worn anywhere.

Supremely comfortable yet light as a feather, the Haruspec goggles also provide excellent protection against the elements thanks to their sturdy side shields. Stegman’s fitted the goggles with polycarbonate performance lenses and a special slip-resistant nose pad to ensure they stay in place.

Outfitted with Rambler’s scratch resistant lenses, the Aponte Explorer goggles provides a clear view of the path ahead. Their wraparound design keeps dirt and debris away while on windy plains, but still look stylish enough to wear when walking through bustling city streets.

If you aren’t a subscriber but want to acquire these packs as part of a Subscription, you can still receive them if you SUBSCRIBE by November 18th.

Additionally, you can purchase these and most of the previous flair going back to 2014 ANYTIME in the Subscriber Exclusive store. You can fill in any gaps as well as gift them to non-subscribers.

SHIP OF THE MONTH

Presenting the Anvil Aerospace U4A-3 Terrapin-class Scanning/Exploration Ship. The Terrapin was developed near the end of the 28th century to serve as the first ship in the Empire’s defensive restructuring of the Navy. The Terrapin’s watchword is protection, with extensive shield systems and armor layers designed to provide the maximum possible defense for pilot and crew. While it lacks the maneuverability of a dedicated fighter, it does maintain an advanced, hard-hitting array of weapons intended to keep the most fearsome Vanduul raider at bay.
