Hufco started out as a small family run farming operation in Midwest portion of the old United States during the late 20th century. Over the years the increasing demands of farming on a planet that was rapidly losing its natural resources caused the Family run operation to turn to new sources of revenue. Re-purposing their small fleet of haulers to transport more than grain or livestock, Hufco reforged themselves into a small but effective transport service. Using contacts made while serving with distinction in the old United States Navy, Hufco’s Aging CEO managed to secure “outdated” weapons, ships and training for the employees of his company; ensuring that their cargo would be kept safe in this new era of space travel.
