History

Founding: The 41st Angel Guard had its start in the premier brigades of the Terran outpost world, Elysia. These brigades functioned under the Combined Armed Forces of Elysia, the 1st Elysian Heavy Airborne Division or more commonly known as the Elysian Drop-troops. These brigades primary focus was the use of skilled pilots in support of the airborne operations of Elysia. A duty in which they carried out above and beyond the call. By the time Elysia fell to the chaos of interstellar war the division had been worn down to two remaining brigades, the 39th Air Support Squadron and the 4th Guard drop-troops. These two brigades would fight on against the enemies of their home world with great valor and fortitude. But it was all for naught, as the chaotic forces aligned against their home would launch an Asteroid Strike with devastating effect. The total destruction of Elysia.

After the Fall: While taking part in the last bits of heavy fighting on the far moon of Elysia the remaining members of the 1st Division watched as their planet cracked in half and was destroyed. The two remaining brigades pulled their men out and withdrew into the depths of space. The men and women who had survived the war now had no where to call home, no where to sleep, and no where to work. With this new obstacle ahead of them the commanding officers elected to form into one brigade and rename themselves, the 41st Angel Guard. With the newly formed brigade gaining a sense of place in the vastness of space as a small outer-rim freelance security company things began to look up for the members. This would soon change as it was the nature of the 41st to take the hardest and riskiest of jobs. This earned the 41st a reputation of hard-charging war fighters that get the job done no matter the cost. That reputation would seal the fate of the former brigade, now private security company.

Final Fall: The last major operation that any forces of Elysia would take part in came almost 15 years after the destruction of the home world. The 41st found themselves in the midst of a border dispute between two outer-rim empires and at the mercy of the chaotic forces that had led to the destruction of their home. At the end of the contract, and end of this latest war, the 41st had been reduced too just a few surviving members. It is now where the 41st finds it self today, a dawn of a new age and a new mission. The survivors withdrew to Terra and reorganized themselves again into a Private Military Corporation with a focus on freelance security for convoys and exploration contracts.
