Where we are going we don’t need eyes to see.
History
In 2047, the first of our faith Dr. William Weir went out to the edge of the Sol system in order to test an experimental warp drive that would allow him to delve deeper into the void than ever before. According to the scriptures, on the first test the ship was transported to a dimension that defied any description and was comparable only to Hell. The ship returned nearly instantaneously, but Dr. Weir had glimpsed the void and was forever changed. It is said that he removed his own eyes before seizing control of the ship, uttering the great words: “Where we are going, we don’t need eyes to see.”

It was after that fateful journey that the Void Drifters were founded to pursue Dr. Weir’s quest to find the path that leads beyond the void.
Manifesto
As a voidist, one considers that conciousness is an illusion, a very good illusion, but an illusion nonetheless.
The prime objective of the Void Drifters is to recover and continue the work of Dr.Weir , to once again find the path beyond the void.
Charter
Thou shalt not, Test the strength of the void! — Destroy the Void! — Exploit the Void! — Deny the Void! — Expose the Void! — Disrupt the Void! — Develop a Co-dependant relationship with any ship that can traverse the Void! —
Those who break the charter of the Void will be held accountable for all past and future failures of the faith. They will also face the Arbiter of the Drifters who will remove the eyes of the heretic.
