History
The Order of the Iron Vow was founded in the aftermath of the Vanduul War by former UEE Navy ship commander Thangrim. Thangrim served with distinction during some of the most intense naval engagements of the conflict. When the war ended, rather than retire into obscurity or serve corporate interests, Thangrim chose to continue the fight on his own terms.
In 2950, he acquired one of the first civilian model RSI Perseus gunships off the production line. The ship, named Oathkeeper, became the foundation of a new force: a private military company guided not by credits, but by a personal code of honor, protection, and resolve.
Thus, The Order of the Iron Vow was born.
Built on principles of loyalty, professionalism, and discipline, the Order quickly earned a reputation for high-risk protection services, executive security, and bounty hunting operations across UEE and fringe space. Clients turned to the Order not just for its firepower, but for its integrity and reliability in a universe where both are increasingly rare.
In time, the Order expanded its capabilities, adding cargo trading operations to support and sustain its military reach. Today, it operates as a fully independent force with a growing fleet and presence across multiple systems.

Established 2950 · Bound by Code, Not Coin
I. Purpose and Mandate
The Order of the Iron Vow is a professional private military company (PMC) established to provide secure, ethical, and effective protection and combat services across the UEE and fringe systems. We exist to safeguard our clients, enforce our contracts, and uphold the Iron Vow: to bring order where chaos thrives, and to stand where others fall.
II. Core Principles
Honor in Action
Members will conduct themselves with integrity, professionalism, and respect whether in combat, contract negotiation, or inter-org diplomacy.
Steel in Resolve
We complete our missions. Members do not abandon clients, crew, or objectives without lawful cause or overwhelming threat to survival.
Discipline Above All
Orders are followed. Chaos is the enemy. Chain of command is to be respected at all times, especially under fire.
No Vowbreakers
Betrayal, piracy, or intentional violation of our contracts will result in immediate expulsion and designation as hostile.
III. Operational Conduct
Rules of Engagement (ROE)
1. Use of lethal force is permitted when defending clients, crew, assets, or self.
2. Avoid unnecessary aggression. We are protectors, not marauders.
3. Pirates, griefers, and hostile orgs may be engaged without warning if identified as threats to Order operations.
Client Relations
1. All client engagements must be documented.
2. Double-booking, data leaks, or betrayal of client interests is forbidden.
3. Members may not take personal contracts that conflict with org objectives. If you publicly display affiliation with our org.
Fleet Operations
1. Fleet exercises and drills are to be participated in whenever possible.
2. Each ship’s commander holds full authority in combat scenarios unless overruled by higher-ranking officers.
3. Damaged or lost ships in org operations may qualify for partial or full reimbursement depending on mission status and adherence to protocol.
IV. Internal Structure and Roles
Command (High Command Council) – Strategic planning, diplomacy, org vision.
Operations Division – Security contracts, bounty missions, PvP response.
Logistics Division – Cargo operations, fleet support, resource management.
Intelligence Division – Recon, threat analysis, mission planning.
Reserves & Recruits – Support personnel, training pool, auxiliary aid.
Promotion is merit-based. Discipline is enforced with warnings, demotion, or removal.
V. Ethics and Alliances
1. No association with known pirate factions, exploiters, or griefers.
2. Smuggling, slaving, and black-market activity are prohibited while operating under the Iron Vow flag.
3. Temporary alliances with lawful or neutral orgs are permitted with Command approval.
VI. The Vow
Each member of the Order swears the Iron Vow:
“I vow to stand against the dark, to protect those under my charge, to follow orders with honor, to act without cruelty or greed, and to bring no shame upon the Order. Where others flee, I will hold. Where others fall, I will rise.”
