History

The History of the Academy of Sciences

Founded in the year 2546 CE, the United Earth Government (UEG) saw the need for a central institution to advance human knowledge and understanding. The Academy of Sciences was born out of this vision, with its founding members comprising some of the most brilliant minds from across the planet.

The Founding of UEE (2546 CE – 2792 CE)

As humanity expanded into the stars, the United Earth Government gave way to the United Earth Embassy (UEE). The Academy continued to thrive, playing a crucial role in guiding human exploration and colonization. During this period, the institution established research centers on various planets, fostering innovation and progress.

After UEE (2792 CE – 2834 CE)

The collapse of the UEE led to a period of fragmentation and strife. The Academy found itself at the forefront of attempts to reunify humanity’s scattered populations. This was an era marked by great upheaval, as various factions vied for power and resources.

The Digital Age (2834 CE – 2944 CE)

As the dust settled, humanity entered a new era of rapid technological advancement. The widespread adoption of digital technologies enabled global collaboration on an unprecedented scale. Members could now share research and ideas in real-time, leading to breakthroughs in fields like artificial intelligence, biotechnology, and materials science.

Answering the Call (2944 CE – 2954 CE)

In the face of an existential threat from the Vanduul, humanity turned to the Academy for guidance. The institution responded by mobilizing its vast network of researchers and scientists, pooling their expertise to develop new technologies that would aid in the defense of human civilization.

Today, the Academy stands as a beacon of hope, driving innovation and progress in the face of adversity. Its members remain committed to advancing knowledge, promoting understanding, and inspiring a brighter tomorrow for all humanity.
