History

Founded in 2950, Audax Industries is a logistics and Security company which operates along the eastern fringes of the United Empire of Earth.
Based in the Terra system, the Organization has no official allegiance to the Empire other than its lawful method of operation in accordance with UEE legislation.

Regardless of the company’s lack of official ties to the Empire, Audax Industries initial mission statement outlined that it would act among the many civilian enterprises which provide third party logistics support to the UEE Navy elements operating out of, and around the Terra system.
It is also stated that its primary mission statement was originally set out as a direct result of first hand experiences with the UEE Navy’s inconsistent and at times faltering logistics network servicing its secondary fleets. The UEE has since denied these allegations which has prompted Audax Industries to alter its official mission statement.

Initially choosing to specialise in ‘Low volume/High value’ cargo shipping and its security, Audax Industries primarily undertook contracts on behalf of the UEE Navy operating throughout the Terra, Castra and Stanton systems. As the company continued to grow and expand, so too would its area of operations, causing Audax to begin taking on private contracts within those same systems along with the Pyro and Nyx systems respectively.

Audax Industries would continue to provide the Navy with civilian grade shipping services and even paramilitary support drawn from pools of former UEE Navy personnel when needed while expanding into other industries such as Private Security, Manufacturing, Salvaging, Mining and contracted Civilian Exploration.

With the Organization’s scope of operation expanding and civilian contracts becoming more lucrative, accusations of smuggling and illegal cargo operations have frequented Audax Industries public relations going into 2952. These accusations have been countered publicly by the company stating “Audax Industries does not transport illegal cargo. We do, however, respect the sovereignty of our clients’ privacy and assurance that any unmarked cargo is and alway was legal”

Though it has not been officially confirmed by Audax’s board of Directors, the organisation has been noted to align with Terran centric ideals of free trade and cultural growth along with potential, if passive, support of the Transitionalist Movement. Audax Industries continues to deny these allegations though its recruitment pool remains to consist primarily of former UEE personnel and Privateers almost exclusively from the Eastern and Frontier regions.

As a civilian enterprise, Audax expanded its scope of operation with regards to security. Officially moving into the Security sector in 2954 to assist the UEE Navy and Local system law enforcement in their efforts to counter growing pirate activity around Terra and its neighboring systems.

With the addition of 4.0 and the vast scope of time since the Organisations inception, Audax Industries chose to rebrand itself as to focus upon the upcoming patches and updates which will affect how Organisations will work in the future.

Manifesto

Audax Industries is a multiple industry spanning organization focused around Trade, Security and Exploration.
Founded initially as a Shipping Company, Audax Industries has since reorientated itself towards two simple goals. To provide mutually beneficial opportunities such as trade and services. And to aid in the disruption and destruction of pirate activity in and around the UEE.

Easily understood as a Lawful Privateering Organization, Audax and its subsidiary brands seek to secure profitable trade and cooperation in the verse along with the prosecution and asset retrieval from unlawful organisations threatening the United Empire of Earth and its citizens.

With its roots firmly situated in transport, Audax Industries boasts a robust trade and acquisition framework in order to facilitate deals which not only benefit itself, but its trading partners as well. Undertaken with a strong security presence, its for profit based model promotes safety and reliability as much of the profits made in the trade of assets is fed directly into its own security infrastructure.

This infrastructure, though tailored for defense, prioritizes adaptability and the coordination of its assets to execute multiple types of Paramilitary Operations in line with UEE Common Law.
These operations include but are not limited to: Asset Acquisition, Security, Mercenary Activity, Rapid Response, and Anti-Piracy.

Along with its growing Security Fleet and lucrative trading network, Audax Industries continues to expand its Industrial fleet in order to tackle new opportunities which may arise.
From the delving of deep asteroid fields to cleaning up the verse one wreck at a time, coordinated industry operations are regularly undertaken by the Organisation to facilitate not only its growth but also the enrichment of its members.
This creates not only alternative avenues of investment for Audax Industries but also brings the potential of new resources and trade.

As the universe expands and new Jump points are discovered, Audax Industries also seeks out new frontiers. Though the base of its model is centred around Trade and Security, Exploration remains a key part of the organization at large.
The investigation, documentation and pioneering of new lands and resources bring with it potential new opportunities. To this end, Audax also cultivates and encourages inquisitive minds, providing many with the chance to join expeditions into the unknown and to trace long forgotten trails left behind.

Charter

Audax Industries General Charter

All Audax employees must adhere to and act in accordance with the charter.

Brand:

1. All Audax Industries business ventures and divisions must utilize the Audax name.

2. Audax Industries must attempt to maintain growth and independence while expanding into multiple industries.

3. Audax Industries will maintain contracts and business within the scope of Transport, Logistics, Security, Anti-Piracy, Manufacturing, Salvaging and Mining.

4. Audax Industries will act in support of the UEE Navy and Local Law Enforcement by providing a variety of civilian services such as transport and paramilitary support

5. Any contract made between an Audax member, vessel or team and their client must be honoured within the bounds of the contract.

6. Audax Industries and Audax Industries members must act within the best interests of humanity and the UEE.

7. Audax Industries will engage in privateering in accordance with UEE law against Pirates, insurgents, despots and aliens

Method:

1. All Audax members will be supported in their personal endeavours when those endeavours will benefit the organisation so long as it is by legal means.

2. It is expected of all Audax Industries members to contribute to the organisation’s growth and welfare.

3. All Audax Industries operations must and will be conducted in a professional manner and follow a set operations plan.

4. When assigned to a station or role during an official Audax Industries Operation, Audax members are expected to carry out this role to the best of their abilities.

5. Audax Industries members will, should the need arise, acquire equipment and transport by any means necessary to complete their objectives.

Conduct:

1. Audax Industries will adhere to governing UEE legislation/code of conduct and act in correlation to the law/Terms and conditions in all official business ventures.

2. Audax Industries and Audax Industries members will not engage in blatant piracy.

3. Audax members will not engage in griefing of any kind towards innocent players/citizens of the verse.

4. Audax Industries and Audax members alike are permitted to conduct independent Anti-piracy operations in defense of themselves, the organisation and their fellow players/citizens.

5. Audax members will not be permitted to conduct themselves in bias towards race, sex, religion, or political standing.

6. All Audax employees must act towards the best interests of Audax Industries, its branch divisions and its allies at all times.
