ABOUT AMAVO CORP

Amavo Corp was formed on a simple idea: a crew does better work when it works
together, shares what it finds, and enjoys the doing of it. We built the outfit
we wanted to fly in.

We are an exploration and recovery unit. We go out further than is strictly
sensible, we find things that have been sitting in the dark a long time, and we
bring back what is worth bringing back. Self-sustained on the way out,
well-protected on the way home.

RADIO ORETANI

In 2481 Micah Zahir found a system worth settling. By 2483 Turiya Terraforming
had crews on the ground. In 2485 the jump point collapsed behind them, with more
than two thousand workers and their families on the far side of it. No route in
has ever been found. Oretani is still out there — unclaimed, unreachable, and
officially written off.

In 2956 we started picking up the signal.

Radio Oretani is Amavo Corp’s station: the signal from the other side. Twenty-four
hours a day, every day, music for the hard-working citizens of the verse and the
echoes of a lost terraforming fleet. It broadcasts whether we are flying or not.

It is also the reason the exploration wing exists. An organisation that spends its
nights listening to a system nobody can reach is going to spend its days looking
for a way in.

the station never goes quiet.

PROFILE

A professional, self-sustained unit built around exploration and recovery. We aim
to be among the best-equipped outfits flying, because we use what we find —
recovered technology goes back into our own capability before it goes to a buyer.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME

A good crew, the best kit we can field, cover when it goes wrong, and a fair cut.

We run a sharing model that rewards activity across all three arms — exploration,
combat and supply. Supply sells commodities and ammunition to members at preferred
rates. Logistics handles export in deep space, so you are not hauling a full hold
back to an official market every time you fill one. Profit is split equitably, and
the split is not a secret.

JOINING

We take pilots at any experience level. Bring curiosity, say so when you are out of
your depth, and turn up when the fleet does. Everything else is teachable.
