History

Two and a Half Centuries after the Battle of Centauri and the inevitable fall of the Tevarin race a small human faction formed willing to support those, be it both Human and Tevarin, that fell.

Initially the faction was despised by them due to their residing conflicts, but the tense interactions between the faction and the Tevarin began to change when a popular Tevarin mercenary joined as head of the stealth and espionage squadron known as Ebony Wing. Two months after the change of leadership, Ebony Wing proceeded to single handedly steal an incredulous amount of UEE information regarding supposedly hidden refugee sectors which were scheduled to be sweeped and annexed by the UEE. They then used this data to allow a light transport squadron to evacuate and relocate various targeted locations. After such events, the bonds between this uprising faction and Tevarin began to form. The Tevarin-led Squadron soon rose to be known as one of the top most effective reconnaissance groups that the ATC still has today.

A decade after the relocation the UEE tracked down Ebony Wing in the Kallis system, and a small scale conflict broke out in orbit of Kallis IV. Known as the battle of Scather Field, 2864. Outmatched in firepower, the Squadron took refuge in the nearby asteroid belt, calling for affiliate assistance. As the UEE slowly closed in they were met with a small combat squadron, backed by a Flight Model III Hammerhead, which successfully shut down and eliminated the two fighter squadrons. With contact of the UEE severed, the two squadrons secured a temporary landing site within Kallis IV until they were safe and clear of enemy activity.

Roughly 30 years later the Antares Trade and Contracting corporation was formed, with both species actively involved within various roles and jobs along its roster. While relatively new in its own right, the ATC has roots that run deep within a respectable and palpable fairness between races that has slowly begun to gain popularity, and notoriety, among the verse’.

Manifesto

Trade and Transport Division

Antares Trade and Contracting is at its core, a corporation, centered around a for-profit functionality providing jobs for the standard citizen. From V.I.P escorts to secure system wide mining operations, ATC’s Trade Division is focused around all things ‘Cargo’. If you can haul it, mine it, or secure it, this pillar of our corporation is for you.

Private Military Division

The second pillar is our contracting division, which is a hireable private military consisting of multiple squadrons which can carry out simple tasks such as escorting, bounty hunting, or large scale tasks such as setting up blockades along transport routes, and so on. Aside from providing our own corporation with security, squadrons can be hired by paying sources to complete multiple tasks.

In larger scale operations decided by our Board of Directors, multiple squadrons may band together to carry out more complicated tasks, whether that is securing a jump point, initiating a deep space trade, or acquiring data through long range espionage or infiltration, ATC’s military division focuses on bringing firepower where and when it is required.

We aim to provide services across multiple star systems, allowing jobs and military service through lawful practice (Lawful practice only applies to UEE sanctioned systems/sectors).

The UEE is considered a negative prospect in our eyes, this is due to various bad decisions and the less than appropriate handling of which they have committed over the years. While the ATC is willing to work within UEE claimed systems, this does not mean we proudly associate ourselves with them as stated above.

Our corporation is a pro-tevarin support state. We aim to provide equal access to jobs and opportunities to both Humans and Tevarin alike, background checks on previous relations to criminal parties is required.

System-wise, the ATC has its eyes set forward on ensuring a stable and successful lifestyle for Tevarin, due to the decline of their race’s numbers, we seek to ensure they will not become extinct in due time. The Branaugh system is currently our main prospect as assuming control over this system, or at the very least securing a strong influence within this system, will bring us one step closer towards rebuilding a better tomorrow of equality and safety for the Tevarin race.
