History Manifesto Charter

History

The name “Old Crows” derived from the first use of Electronic Warfare (EW) on Earth in the mid-20th Century during the 2nd World War to disrupt communications and radars. These operators were known by the code name “Raven” and commonly referred to each other as “Crows”.

1942- The Strategic Air Command (SAC) of the United States Air Force forms the Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) Division charged with monitoring, analyzing and disrupting radio and radar transmissions of the Axis powers under the code-name “Raven”. These officers became the “Old Crows”.

1964- The annual reunion of electronic warfare military officers and professionals formalized into an alliance and created a charter for the “Association of Old Crows” (AoOC) in Alexandria, Virginia, United States, Earth.

2023- AoOC organized as a “non-partisan non-national” alliance of eWar, InfoSec, and SigInt professionals dedicated to furtherance of security and profit through the understanding, direction, manipulation and exploitation of Electromagnetic Spectrum Carried Information and Cyber Security.

2079- With the development of quantum travel, AoOC establishes the first of a series of orbital manned signal stations at Europa, followed by every planetary system to form a trans-Sol-system spectrum coverage.

2159- AoOC obtains fleet of Zeus spacecraft for operations and establishes first off-world headquarters on the newly terraformed Mars.

2283- AoOC establishes first inter-stellar headquarter in the Croshaw System.

2381- AoOC as a “non-partisan non-planetary alliance” is chosen to monitor and report on adherence to the UNE charter by signatory countries.

Manifesto

The Association of Old Crows is a consortium of citizens who have common interests in Electronic Warfare (EW), Cyber Security (CS), Electromagnetic Spectrum Management Operations (ESMO), Cyber Electromagnetic Activities (CEMA), and other information and spectrum related capabilities. AoOC provides a means of sharing, utilizing, and exploiting information and assets of all members and the association itself to further advancement of spectrum management and cyber hacking for the protection and profit of its members.

The AoOC focuses on Full Spectrum Management including analysis, manipulation and exploitation. Electronic Spectrum Management (ESM) encompasses the entire electromagnetic spectrum from Ultra Low Frequency radio waves to Gamma Rays and includes Optical Wavelengths. Major mechanisms of management include radio antennae, X-ray detection, radar and laser devices. We also focus on the information that spectrum carries and methods of protecting it for our clients and exploiting it for our enemies.

Knowledge

The nature of war has evolved over the last thousand years with technology advancement, and today is subject more to Electronic Spectrum Warfare than archaic explosive and projectile combat. Though specialized equipment is used in eWar, it is the knowledge of their use and the nature of the Electromagnetic Spectrum that is of greatest value in conflicts. AoOC is committed to the advancement of the knowledge and exploitation of ES and Cyber Security among its members for their benefit and progress.

Interconnection

The Association of Old Crows serves as a channel for the sharing and distribution of information and knowledge of Electronic Spectrum Management (ESM) and Cyber Information Security (CIS). This includes facilitation of communication by voice, text and mail, as well as a place for the compilation and distribution of the body of knowledge of ESM and CIS. The database of information and techniques in spectrum management and signal processing is available to all members for contribution and access.

Trust

The Association of Old Crows is committed to the strengthening of the trust and reliance among all its members in order to be able to count on the knowledge, assistance and support of fellow members and The Association itself. Honesty and openness is the hallmark of AoOC and its members. Fraud, deceit, and betrayal will not be tolerated within the organization and will be cause for immediate dismissal. It is only through trust that the full value of knowledge, collaboration and support can be employed.

Security

All AoOC members are committed to the aid and protection of other members. In addition the organization is committed to the advancement of the knowledge of Electronic Spectrum and Cyber Information Management toward the security and protection of personnel and property. All assets, personnel, and resources of AoOC are available for the preservation and protection of members against alien attack.
