History Manifesto Charter

History

Apex Incorporated currently deals primarily in the interstellar transportation of goods, which includes both bulk hauling as well as smaller courier jobs. As we establish our foothold in the universe and gain the ability to explore new markets, we will likely expand our operations to include other ventures such as exploration, resources or trading.
However, we are not a militant corporation and our operations do not include combat – space or planetside – except in the defence of cargo, fleet or employee.

If you want to be part of a large military corporation or an enormous trade empire, you may want to move on.
If however, you want to earn your credits through honest work with other like-minded individuals while seeing some fantastic sights and experiencing some fantastic things along the way; Apex Incorporated is for you.

Manifesto

Apex Incorporated is a legitimate and law-abiding business.
Our ships and crew deal only in the transport of legitimate and lawful goods, we do not utilise our company assets for nor condone in any way illegitimate trafficking of prohibited goods such as military hardware or slaves.

Apex Incorporated is first and foremost a business and as such, profit is the heart of all our operations and ventures. We do not punish employees who wish to explore, mine or otherwise partake in other space-faring ventures; but individuals who do so would not be doing so under the banner of Apex Incorporated and as such would not have access to company assets.

While on-duty, our employees are expected to place the well-being of themselves and their fellow crew mates first, cargo second and nothing third.
We do permit employees who align themselves with other organisations or employers to be a part of Apex Incorporated, we’re a company not a church. However, employees who only do the bare minimum to maintain their employment will not progress very far in the company.
Also, employees who spend their non-working hours actively hindering Apex Incorporated either verbally or physically will have their contracts terminated, regardless of outstanding stipulations.

Charter

Apex Incorporated demonstrates and expects from its employees only basic courtesies and rules of conduct in order to maintain our standing as a legitimate business, maintain a safe working environment for our employees and be successful as a business.

  1. - An employee of Apex Incorporated will at no time mindfully undertake illegal activity including but not limited to: possession and transport of unlawful goods, trading of unlawful goods, physical assault or murder (not in self-defence) and any other violations of the law.
  2. - An employee of Apex Incorporated will at no time utilise company assets for any purpose other than ventures of the company.
  3. - All employees of Apex Incorporated are expected to treat fellow crew members fairly and equally. Any mistreatment of a fellow will place an employee at risk of expulsion from the company.

As basic as they may be, we do not tolerate violation of these rules and any violation will – after consideration for extenuating circumstances – result in immediate termination of an employee’s contract, regardless of any outstanding stipulations.
