ASD – Asset Control & Recovery (ACR) is a Star Citizen organization centered around ASD‑themed operations, with a strong focus on Onyx facilities and related contracts. We operate as calm, structured guides and escorts, helping players complete objectives efficiently and safely.

History

ASD Asset Control & Recovery (ASD ACR) didn’t start as a big “unit” with lore and ranks. It started with me being available.

I put up a listing on UEX as an ASD Onyx Companion. basically: “If you want help in Onyx, I’ll join your run and make it smoother.” From there, it became a pattern. People would reach out because they were new to Onyx, running solo, or just wanted an extra teammate who could keep an eye on the flank and help move through the facility without the usual confusion.

After enough runs, it made sense to give the idea a proper home: a small org built around the same promise. That’s what ASD ACR is today, still owned and operated by me, but set up in a way that can grow into a reliable group of players who enjoy ASD gameplay and keep coming back to Onyx and its contracts.

The goal isn’t to “roleplay being special.” It’s to make it easier for people to find the help I’ve been offering, and to eventually bring in more like‑minded players who genuinely enjoy the Onyx loop and want to be that extra hand for others.

Manifesto

I’m building ASD Asset Control & Recovery around a simple idea: Onyx is better with a capable companion or multiple companions.

This org is for people who:
  • like ASD content and the Onyx Facility vibe
  • actually enjoy learning layouts, angles, and routes
  • don’t mind being the “extra set of eyes” that helps someone else finish a run
What ASD ACR is trying to do is pretty down-to-earth:
  • help players complete ASD Onyx investigation contracts (from the intro contract up to Project Hyperion)
  • join flexible Onyx runs (loot runs, blueprint runs, practice runs)
  • join Yormandi arena when that’s what you’re after
  • keep it client-first: your route, your pace, your objectives

If you want a group that’s ASD-minded, likes traversing Onyx, and treats “helping people through content” as the whole point, then you’ll understand what I’m building here.

Charter

Public rules for ASD Asset Control & Recovery

  • Client first.
If you’re joining someone as support, they decide the route and the pace. We adapt.
  • Loot is the client’s.
Default rule: loot stays with the client. If they offer something, that’s their choice.
  • Be self-sufficient.
Bring your own kit. If you can carry extra meds/food/water for emergencies, even better.
  • Keep comms practical.
Clear callouts when it matters. Don’t flood voice with noise during contact.
  • No toxicity, no ego.
Treat people normally. No dunking on new players, no attitude, no drama.
  • PvP-aware, but not PvP-hungry.
If PvP happens, the client decides: avoid it or take the fight.
  • Don’t oversell yourself.
If you don’t know something, say so and learn it. Reliability beats bravado.
  • Respect the reality of the game.
Crashes/desync happen. We don’t blame each other for the universe being the universe.

This charter exists for one reason: so anyone running with ASD ACR knows what to expect: support that’s calm, fair, and focused on finishing the run.
