I. Purpose and Philosophy
The Astral Scale Empire is a collective of merchants, pilots, soldiers and scientists dedicated to establishing a presents within the reaches of the Stanton system and beyond. We operate as a casual organization, prioritizing a relaxed environment where members can experience the full breadth of the verse without the pressure of mandatory play hours. Our goal is to foster a dependable community that supports one another in every venture.
II. Core Gameplay Loops
Our operations are divided into four primary sectors. Members are encouraged to participate in any area that interests them.
Logistics: Managing the flow of resources through trade, cargo hauling, and the importation of essential items.
Industrial: Developing the empire’s wealth through dedicated salvage operations and resource extraction.
Security: Providing protection for our fleet and partners through both proactive and reactive combat measures in various environments.
Science and Exploration: Expanding our knowledge of deep space through the discovery of new jump points and the study of celestial phenomena.
III. Roles and Responsibilities
Upon joining the organization, members have the option to align themselves with a specific operational wing. This selection is entirely voluntary and is intended to help organize our collective efforts.
Wing Selection: Members may choose to join the Logistics, Industrial, Security, Science, or Exploration wings.
Flexibility: Members retain total autonomy over their career path. A member may change their designated wing at any time as their interests in the verse evolve.
Expertise and Collaboration: By selecting a wing, a member acknowledges that others in the organization may look to them for specialized knowledge. When collaborating on complex problems or large scale tasks, wing members are expected to share their expertise to ensure the success of the mission.
