History
I. Foundation — 2946
Aurelion Group was established in 2946 as an independent commercial enterprise operating within the United Empire of Earth. Founded by a small group of ambitious entrepreneurs, experienced pilots, and logistics specialists, the corporation began with a straightforward objective: to establish a reliable commercial network connecting businesses, settlements, and industrial facilities across the Stanton system.
During its earliest years, Aurelion operated a modest fleet of light freighters, undertaking cargo deliveries and commercial transportation contracts. While the organisation initially lacked the resources of larger corporations, it distinguished itself through dependable service, careful planning, and a commitment to fulfilling its contractual obligations.
Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, the founders prioritised financial stability, operational efficiency, and the development of long-term commercial relationships.
These principles would eventually become the foundation of Aurelion’s corporate philosophy.
II. The Stanton Expansion — 2948–2950
As commercial demand increased, Aurelion began expanding its logistical capabilities.
Additional vessels were acquired, allowing the corporation to undertake larger freight contracts and establish regular trading routes between major commercial destinations.
Operations gradually expanded to include the transportation of industrial equipment, manufactured goods, medical supplies, and other legitimate commodities.
The corporation developed relationships with independent merchants, industrial contractors, and private enterprises, strengthening its position within Stanton’s competitive commercial environment.
However, expansion also introduced new challenges.
Increasingly valuable cargo shipments attracted the attention of criminal organisations and opportunistic pirates. Several incidents involving attempted cargo theft and disrupted deliveries demonstrated the growing need for dedicated protective capabilities.
Aurelion’s leadership concluded that continued commercial expansion would require more than an efficient trading fleet.
It would require a security division.
III. Establishment of Corporate Security — 2951
In 2951, Aurelion formally established its Corporate Security Division.
Initially consisting of a small contingent of security personnel and escort pilots, the division was tasked with protecting commercial shipments, safeguarding company property, and supporting operations in higher-risk regions.
Over time, its responsibilities expanded to include convoy protection, asset defence, security patrols, and contracted protective services for external clients.
The division adopted a policy of professionalism, accountability, and disciplined cooperation.
Its purpose was not territorial conquest or unnecessary conflict, but the protection of legitimate commercial interests and the preservation of operational security.
The establishment of Corporate Security marked a turning point in Aurelion’s development, transforming the organisation from a conventional trading enterprise into a diversified interstellar corporation.
IV. Corporate Consolidation — 2952–2954
With its commercial and security operations firmly established, Aurelion entered a period of consolidation.
The corporation introduced a more structured organisational hierarchy, separating its commercial and security responsibilities while maintaining unified executive oversight.
Investment was directed toward fleet development, personnel training, logistical coordination, and the establishment of standard operating procedures.
During this period, Aurelion also began welcoming independent pilots and newly qualified citizens into its organisation.
Recognising that experience could be developed through cooperation and mentorship, the corporation created opportunities for newcomers to participate in commercial operations alongside more experienced personnel.

V. A New Era — 2955–Present

Meanwhile, its security division provides protective services for corporate operations and external contracts, maintaining the organisation’s commitment to reliability and operational preparedness.
Although its origins lie within the Stanton system, Aurelion’s long-term ambitions extend far beyond its original trading routes.
The corporation seeks to establish new partnerships, develop additional operational capabilities, and expand into emerging commercial markets throughout the United Empire of Earth.
Future plans include the development of specialised fleets, larger logistical operations, and an expanded network of commercial and security partnerships.

IV. OUR ORGANIZATION
Aurelion Group operates under a structured command hierarchy designed to maintain accountability, operational efficiency, and opportunities for advancement.
Our personnel progress through six principal ranks:
- Rank 0 — Recruit
- Rank 1 — Crewman
- Rank 2 — Petty Officer
- Rank 3 — Lieutenant
- Rank 4 — Commodore
- Rank 5 — Fleet Marshal
The organization is overseen by the Fleet Admiral, supported by the Vice Admiral and appointed officers.
Specialist divisions, including Recruitment, Public Affairs, and Naval Operations, support the continued development of the Group.
Rank represents responsibility, not personal superiority. Every member is entitled to respect regardless of position.

ARTICLE I — ESTABLISHMENT AND IDENTITY
Aurelion Group (AURG) is an independent private military corporation established to conduct professional naval, security, logistical, and strategic operations throughout the United Empire of Earth and its surrounding territories.
The organization is founded upon the principles of discipline, integrity, professionalism, loyalty, and cooperation.
Aurelion Group operates as a unified organization under a structured chain of command, with all members contributing to its continued development and operational success.
ARTICLE II — PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The primary purpose of Aurelion Group is to establish and maintain a capable, reliable, and respected private military organization.
Its principal objectives are:
1. To provide professional security and naval services.
2. To maintain an organized and operationally capable fleet.
3. To develop the skills and experience of all personnel.
4. To establish productive diplomatic and commercial relationships.
5. To support members through cooperative operations and shared resources.
6. To expand the organization’s influence, capabilities, and reputation throughout known space.
ARTICLE III — GOVERNANCE AND AUTHORITY
Aurelion Group shall operate under the authority of its Fleet Admiral, who serves as the organization’s founder and supreme commanding officer.
The Vice Admiral shall act as deputy commander and assume delegated responsibilities as required.
Senior officers shall assist in the administration, coordination, and management of organizational activities.
All appointments shall be made according to demonstrated competence, reliability, leadership, and commitment to the organization.
The chain of command shall be respected during official operations. Outside organized missions, members are encouraged to communicate openly and contribute suggestions.
ARTICLE IV — RANK STRUCTURE
Aurelion Group shall maintain the following official rank hierarchy:
Rank 0 — Recruit
Rank 1 — Crewman
Rank 2 — Petty Officer
Rank 3 — Lieutenant
Rank 4 — Commander
Rank 5 — Rear Admiral
The following positions exist above the standard rank hierarchy:
Vice Admiral — Deputy Commander
Fleet Admiral — Supreme Commander
Promotion shall be determined by merit, activity, professionalism, leadership, and service to the organization.
No member shall be promoted solely on the basis of personal wealth, spacecraft ownership, or financial contributions.
ARTICLE V — OFFICER APPOINTMENTS AND DEPARTMENTS
The organization shall maintain designated administrative and operational appointments.
Commissioned Officers shall assist with command responsibilities, personnel management, and the coordination of official activities.
Recruitment Officers shall oversee applications, member induction, recruitment initiatives, and the integration of new personnel.
Public Affairs Officers shall manage external communications, organizational announcements, promotional activities, and public representation.
Additional departments may be established by Fleet Command as organizational requirements develop.
Appointments shall be separate from permanent rank and may be reassigned according to operational needs.
ARTICLE VI — MEMBERSHIP AND CONDUCT
All members of Aurelion Group shall be expected to:
1. Treat fellow members and other players with respect.
2. Follow reasonable instructions during organized operations.
3. Represent the organization professionally.
4. Avoid harassment, discrimination, and unnecessary hostility.
5. Respect organizational resources and shared equipment.
6. Maintain operational confidentiality when appropriate.
7. Cooperate with fellow personnel and contribute positively to the organization.
Membership shall remain voluntary, and real-life responsibilities shall take precedence over organizational activities.
Disciplinary measures shall be proportionate, transparent, and subject to review by senior command.
ARTICLE VII — NAVAL OPERATIONS
The Aurelion Group fleet shall serve as the principal operational component of the organization.
All vessels operating under the AURG designation shall be considered part of the organization’s coordinated naval structure when participating in official operations.
Ship commanders shall be responsible for the organization, safety, and effectiveness of their assigned crews.
Personnel shall be assigned according to their experience, qualifications, availability, and operational requirements.
The organization shall encourage cooperation between capital vessels, escort craft, logistical support ships, and specialized personnel.
ARTICLE VIII — DIPLOMACY AND EXTERNAL RELATIONS
Aurelion Group shall seek to establish constructive relationships with reputable organizations, independent contractors, and commercial entities.
Diplomatic agreements, alliances, and major contractual commitments shall require authorization from Fleet Command.
Members shall not independently declare hostilities or enter binding agreements on behalf of Aurelion Group without authorization.
The organization shall prioritize professionalism, reliability, and the protection of its reputation.
ARTICLE IX — RECRUITMENT AND ADVANCEMENT
Recruitment shall be open to individuals who demonstrate an interest in the organization’s activities and a willingness to follow its principles.
New members shall initially receive the rank of Recruit.
Upon successful induction, recruits may be promoted to Crewman.
Further advancement shall be based upon demonstrated competence, reliability, service, and leadership.
All members shall have the opportunity to pursue specialized roles and positions of responsibility.
ARTICLE X — ORGANIZATIONAL ASSETS
Organizational assets may include spacecraft, equipment, financial resources, logistical supplies, and other resources voluntarily contributed or made available by members.
Personal property shall remain the property of its respective owner unless explicitly transferred through an agreed arrangement.
No member shall be required to make real-money purchases, financial contributions, or spacecraft pledges as a condition of membership or promotion.
Shared resources shall be managed responsibly and used for authorized organizational purposes.
ARTICLE XI — AMENDMENTS AND REVISIONS
This Charter may be amended to reflect changes in the organization’s structure, objectives, operational requirements, or membership.
Proposed amendments may be submitted by officers or members for consideration.
Final approval of amendments shall rest with Fleet Command.
All approved revisions shall be communicated to the membership and incorporated into the official Charter.
