Founded in 2520, B.E.S.T. began life as Bereznyiak Experimental Space Technologies with a simple mandate: to fund a newly-developed artificial intelligence mainframe programmed to simulate the mind and personality of historical space innoventer Alexander Bereznyiak, and once completed, to let ‘Bereznyiak 2.0’ lead our company into the newly-discovered field of jump-point navigation. In our first decade of business, we learned two lessons that still guide B.E.S.T.® to this day:

1. When you combine cutting-edge scientific geniuses and charismatic, forward-thinking investors, you can go BEYOND the impossible.
2. Giving an experimental A.I. direct helm control of a 5000 ton mega-freighter is not a good idea.

Once the dust cleared and all the insurance payments were settled, we jumped back into the space game as ‘Beyond Exploration, Security & Transport, LLC.’ [‘Beyond Exploration, Security & Transport, LLC.’ is a new, distinct and singular legal entity, and should not be confused with “Bereznyiak Experimental Space Technologies” for any purposes, up to and including ongoing legal actions or wrongful death lawsuits.] Bereznyak 2.0 still guides our vision from its court-ordered, non-networked plasteel bunker, helping us bring a bit of old-school wisdom and pioneer-age innovention to the dangerous and unpredictable world of space commerce.
