BHB Army is currently recruiting members for the PU release of Star Citizen. We are a pirate faction seeking to control a swath of territory in low security space. If you are interested in PvP and wish to engage in piracy or freelancing, inquire more on our Spectrum page!

History

Founded on April 5th 2945, BHB is a close-knit gaming troupe and organization founded by Furbag with the intention of fostering a gaming community of friendship and cooperation. The founding members of BHB are passionate about Star Citizen and it’s development, and are avid gamers with many different interests.

Our mission statement: To form an elite group of outlaws and brigands interested in PvP, building our notoriety up and ultimately holding large swaths of territory in low-security space and terrorizing civilians, merchants, and rival pirate groups alike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: “I’m a [non-combat role], can I still join BHB?”

A: Sure. There’s no requirement to participate in combat or PvP, but you should be aware that BHB is a pirate organization, and your association with us may make you a target. That being said, we welcome merchants, miners, crafters and entrepreneurs. All are welcome.

Q: “If I give you money, will you leave me alone?”

A: Non-aggression pacts can be negotiated between parties that are interested in operating unhindered within BHB territory. This involves a transaction in the form of currency, goods, or services in exchange for our cooperation. Send a private message to Furbag for more information.

Q: “I’m not interested in space combat, but I really like the FPS aspect of Star Citizen. Will there be any opportunities to do that?”

A: Large, multicrew vessels and PvP objectives within the game will require the aid of infantry, which means that as pirates we will need specialized players whose sole function is to capture ships during boarding operations. So yes, there will be plenty of that, and you don’t even need to be able to fly good to do it.

Q: “Is my pledge ship going to be helpful in combat?”

A: Our current understanding is that all ships will be useful in one way or another. We are currently seeking owners and pilots of Cutlass Blacks, Cutlass Reds, Caterpillars, multi-purpose dogfighters and other pirate-friendly ships to fill our ranks, but if you cannot afford or are unable to acquire one of those vessels, you are still welcome to fly any ship you like into combat.

The Rules

You must have fun. Above all else, you should be here because you want to have fun in Star Citizen. We want to be a welcoming community for both casual and hardcore players who are looking to have a good time and play as a team. If you are not having fun in the org, I encourage you to speak with me or another Astral Knight ranked officer so we can best determine how to help you have fun in our community.

No Cheating. If your aim is to cheat, hack, glitch or exploit to gain an advantage in Star Citizen, you are not welcome here. Plain and simple. All it takes is one person to ruin the reputation of an entire organization. I cannot, and will not, knowingly protect an organization member of any rank who decides to cheat to gain an advantage in any form. Thus, the most severe punishment will be brought down upon those whose less-than-outstanding integrity is brought to light. No warnings, no striked. Cheaters will be permanently banned, forever.

Activity Requirement. You are required to stay active to retain rank in the organization.

We understand that real life and scheduling can often conflict with our personal time. We do not expect anybody to log in every single day or play for every spare moment they have. All we ask is that you maintain ties within our community. If you get hooked on the latest and greatest AAA title and you forget all about us, we’ll be sad and we’ll miss you – but you can come back and re-tag at any time. We will occasionally purge the roster of inactive players to keep our headcount accurate.

Players who are inactive for an extended period of time may log in to find that they have been demoted to Initiate or removed from the roster entirely. Returning to active duty or being reinstated to your former rank is as simple as sending a message to one of the recruitment officers and maintaining a good log-in record. Keep in mind that higher ranked individuals are expected to commit more time to the organization, and losing a rank due to inactivity may not necessarily be re-instated upon your return.

All drama stays in the Flame Pit. Drama happens. Tempers can flare and egos can be bruised, but at the end of the day we are all on the same team. Rather than try to mediate every single squabble between members, we’ve created a special area within our forums for those of you who love drama. Think of it as one half containment and one half catharsis. If you want to argue, you want to yell, you want to rant and shout and swear at each other or anything else, from dusk ‘till dawn, you have the flame pit as your battleground. There is to be absolutely no drama, no personal attacks, and no dirty laundry aired outside of the flame pit. Controversial topics may be moved here at the discretion of the forum administrator the the benefit of the rest of the community. By entering the Flame Pit, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the rules listed outlined in the forum guidelines.

Check the ROI app every time you log in. If you are logging in and getting ready to fly in a combat role, be sure to check the rules of engagement list before you engage in any combat or fly anywhere! In the span of a week, a war could be declared, an alliance formed, or a non-aggression pact negotiated. You are expected to keep up with current events. We make this easy for you by providing you with all the information you need to know on our rules of engagement app. It’s your responsibility to act appropriately and represent our guild at all times while tagged – do not fire on allied players and destroy all war targets with extreme prejudice!
