The Black Wolves / BLACKWOLV

We are the Black Wolves, a collection of like-minded individuals who share a passion for safety and security. We believe that free; non-governmental, enterprise in Security and Bounty Hunter work provides benefits to society.

Our mission is to provide loyal, efficient, and professional assistance to those who are able to pay and jobs which fall within our values. In short, our goal is “To make systems better by serving those who have the best interests of the citizens”.

Being a Black Wolf member does not place a heavy chain of command or forced group activity. Instead, it is a collection of Wolf Packs which operate in their local systems and can work together to provide an even greater presence. In order to form a pack you must have a multi-crew ship. This goes in line with the Law of the Jungle, which each wolf must abide.

All Black Wolves may join as a lone wolf or immediately join a pack; if endorsed, but all operations should acknowledge the Law of the Jungle. Each Black Wolf is asked to hunt in a Pack.

To join as a Wolf you may be endorsed by a Pack or you may ask to join without a Pack. In either case, you must show evidence of hunting five player bounties down and bringing them to justice or successfully defending five players from pirates or ill-doers. This work may be done as a group or solo. A group may also request to join as a Pack.

Packs are allowed to set additional values; so long as they don’t contradict the values below, and operate freely. There will be no Pack that is higher than the other Packs, all Packs will be seen as equal. There will be the Elder Wolf who is in charge of the Organization but they will also be subject to the values below. Each Pack Leader has the right to address all Packs for assistance, but it is up to each individual Pack to hearken the call.

In order to form a Pack; in addition to having a multi-crew ship, you must select a Pack Leader and have a crew who support you and provide their allegiance to the pack. All Black Wolves are seen as equals in a pack, and all Packs must use an open democratic model for any Pack decisions. At any point in time, a Pack may vote to elect a new Pack Leader, kick out a wolf, or vote to allow a new Wolf into the Pack. This vote must pass by 75%. All votes must be announced 7 days prior and be open for 7 days. You may not vote if you are a party mentioned in the vote. For example, a proposed Pack Leader may not vote, and a Wolf who is asked to join or be kicked from the Pack also may not vote. Each Pack Leader obtains the rank of Chief. If the Pack contains multiple ships then each multi-crew ship captain will obtain the rank of Captain. Besides that, the rank of Warrior, Wolf, Scout, and Pup is determined by the Pack. If a Wolf feels another deserves a rank promotion then they present it to their Pack and the Pack votes as listed above.

Outside of Packs, all Black Wolves agree to the following values below. Any Wolf not abiding by these values will be put on trial by all the Pack Leaders. The rules for voting will be followed above. Any Wolf may charge any other Wolf but they must provide evidence so that the Wolf may be properly tried.

All Black Wolves are held to the following values:
1) Wolves do not hunt each other; unless there is active evidence for breaking a value below.
2) Wolves are loyal to their original contracts.
3) Wolves are honest in their business.
4) Wolves do not prey on new players and; while providing justice, provide assistance to new players.
5) Wolves do not engage in killing lawful players. (While in Pre-Release this is lifted as we aim to help the development of the game by testing game loops, but if you engage in this gameplay you must clearly not operate as a Black Wolf)
6) Wolves do not actively help criminals and must bring all criminals to justice if the crime they committed is the homicide of lawful players. (While in Pre-Release this is lifted as we aim to help the development of the game by testing game loops, but if you engage in this gameplay you must clearly not operate as a Black Wolf)
7) Wolves are loyal to their Packs and the Packs are loyal to their Wolves.
