Sentinel Response Group (SRG) is a professional PMC built on discipline, teamwork, and readiness. From security and rescue to direct action and combat operations, SRG responds when others cannot. Every Sentinel serves the mission, protects the team, and upholds our standard: First in. Last out.

History

  1. SENTINEL RESPONSE GROUP

### “First In. Last Out.”

## Organizational History

Sentinel Response Group (SRG) was founded in 2943 by a small collection of former military personnel, security contractors, pilots, and logistics specialists who had grown dissatisfied with the increasing instability throughout the United Empire of Earth.

As piracy, organized crime, and Vanduul attacks placed greater pressure on both government and corporate security forces, entire regions were often left without reliable protection. The founders of SRG saw an opportunity to create something different: a professional private military organization capable of responding wherever conventional security forces could not—or would not.

SRG began with a single ship, a small ground element, and a handful of experienced operators. Its earliest contracts consisted primarily of cargo escort, personnel recovery, facility security, and anti-piracy operations. Rather than relying on overwhelming numbers, Sentinel built its reputation around disciplined crews, coordinated combined-arms operations, and completing contracts under conditions other organizations considered too dangerous.

### The Expansion

By 2946, Sentinel Response Group had expanded beyond traditional security work.

The organization established dedicated ground combat, aerospace, reconnaissance, medical, and logistical elements, allowing SRG to conduct operations without relying heavily on outside organizations.

This transformed Sentinel from a security contractor into a fully capable Private Military Company.

Contracts became increasingly complex. SRG personnel found themselves conducting ship boarding operations, recovering captured personnel, hunting high-value criminals, securing remote installations, escorting valuable cargo through pirate-controlled space, and providing rapid-response forces during emergencies.

With expansion came stricter standards.

Every member of Sentinel was expected to understand that the organization’s reputation was its most valuable asset. Discipline, accountability, and mission accomplishment became fundamental parts of SRG culture.

### The Stanton Era

The organization’s operations eventually brought it to the Stanton system, where the combination of corporate interests, piracy, criminal organizations, bounty targets, and contested territory created significant demand for professional security forces.

Sentinel established Stanton as one of its primary operational areas.

From there, SRG began accepting contracts ranging from small protective-security assignments to major combat operations requiring coordinated spacecraft, ground vehicles, infantry, and support personnel.

The organization developed a reputation for functioning as a rapid-response force.

When a distress signal is received, a vessel disappears, a facility comes under attack, or a client requires armed intervention, Sentinel personnel are expected to mobilize quickly and deploy with whatever assets the mission requires.

### Modern Sentinel Response Group

Today, Sentinel Response Group operates as an independent PMC specializing in:

  • Direct Action Operations
  • Combat Search & Rescue
  • Personnel Recovery
  • Anti-Piracy Operations
  • Bounty & High-Value Target Operations
  • Ship Boarding & Interdiction
  • Convoy & Cargo Escort
  • VIP Protection
  • Facility & Asset Security
  • Reconnaissance
  • Aerospace Combat
  • Medical Support
  • Combat Logistics

SRG maintains both spacecraft and ground forces, allowing the organization to deploy anything from a small security team to a coordinated combined-arms task force.

Despite its growth, Sentinel continues to follow the principle upon which it was founded:

A contract is a commitment.

Once Sentinel accepts a mission, its personnel remain committed until the objective has been accomplished, the client has been recovered, or the situation makes continued operations impossible.

Sentinel operators do not consider themselves heroes.

They are professionals sent into situations where others require protection, reinforcement, or extraction.

Wherever humanity expands, danger follows.

Sentinel Response Group intends to be there when it does.

## Organizational Manifesto

### “First In. Last Out.”

## Our Purpose

The universe is vast, unforgiving, and increasingly dangerous.

Governments cannot answer every distress call. Corporations cannot protect every asset. Security forces cannot be everywhere at once. Across civilized space, there will always be people caught beyond the reach of those sworn to protect them.

That is where Sentinel Response Group stands.

Sentinel Response Group is not built upon conquest, politics, or senseless violence. We are a professional Private Military Company founded upon the belief that disciplined individuals, properly trained and united by a common purpose, can bring order to situations where chaos has taken hold.

We go where we are needed.

We respond when others cannot.

And once committed, we finish the mission.

—-

## We Are Sentinels

The name Sentinel carries meaning.

A Sentinel watches when others sleep.

A Sentinel stands between danger and those unable to defend themselves.

A Sentinel remains at their post when circumstances become uncertain.

Every member of SRG carries that responsibility.

Whether infantryman, pilot, medic, engineer, crewman, reconnaissance specialist, or commander, no individual is greater than the organization and no position is without purpose.

We succeed together.

We fail together.

We return together.

—-

## Professionalism Above All

We are contractors, but we are not common mercenaries.

Credits may finance our operations, maintain our vessels, and keep our personnel equipped, but credits do not determine our character.

Our reputation is earned through our actions.

Sentinel personnel will conduct themselves with discipline, competence, and professionalism both on and off contract.

We do not seek unnecessary conflict.

We do not abandon our responsibilities.

We do not compromise the organization for personal glory.

When Sentinel accepts a contract, our word becomes our bond.

—-

## Mission Before Glory

There are no heroes in Sentinel.

There are only operators doing their jobs.

Individual accomplishments will be recognized, but personal glory will never take priority over the mission or the lives of fellow Sentinels.

A successful operation is not measured by how many enemies were destroyed.

It is measured by whether the objective was accomplished.

Sometimes victory means eliminating a hostile force.

Sometimes it means protecting a convoy.

Sometimes it means recovering a stranded pilot.

Sometimes it means bringing a wounded Sentinel home.

Whatever the objective:

The mission comes first.

—-

## No Sentinel Left Behind

Our greatest resource is not our ships.

It is not our weapons.

It is not our credits.

It is our people.

Every Sentinel who deploys under our banner does so knowing that the organization standing behind them will make every reasonable effort to bring them home.

If a pilot is shot down, we search.

If an operator is stranded, we respond.

If a team is surrounded, we reinforce.

If someone is wounded, we recover them.

Equipment can be replaced.

Ships can be rebuilt.

Credits can be earned again.

A Sentinel cannot.

—-

## Strength Through Discipline

Firepower without discipline is nothing more than destruction.

Every Sentinel is expected to train.

Every Sentinel is expected to learn.

Every Sentinel is expected to improve.

Rank is not an entitlement. Authority exists because someone must carry responsibility for the decisions that affect the mission and the people executing it.

Those who lead Sentinel personnel are expected to lead from competence rather than ego.

Those who follow are expected to execute lawful orders with professionalism and initiative.

We demand accountability from the newest recruit to the highest commander.

—-

## Adapt and Overcome

No operation survives exactly as planned.

Ships fail.

Intelligence changes.

Reinforcements disappear.

Enemies adapt.

Plans collapse.

Sentinel does not.

Our personnel are expected to think, communicate, improvise, and overcome whatever stands between them and their objective.

When the situation changes, we change faster.

—-

## Our Reputation Is Our Currency

Every operation conducted under the SRG name contributes to something larger than any individual contract.

Our reputation.

When clients see the Sentinel insignia, they should know what it represents:

Discipline.

Reliability.

Capability.

Integrity.

Resolve.

We will not sacrifice tomorrow’s reputation for today’s profit.

There will always be another contract.

There may not be another chance to restore a broken name.

—-

  1. THE SENTINEL CREED

I am a Sentinel.

I stand ready when others cannot.

I will place the mission above personal glory and the lives of my team above pride.

I will remain disciplined in victory and determined in defeat.

I will protect the reputation carried by the Sentinel name.

I will never knowingly abandon a fellow Sentinel while there remains a reasonable chance to bring them home.

I will adapt when plans fail, fight when necessary, protect when required, and endure when others would quit.

When called, I will respond.

When committed, I will finish the mission.

First In. Last Out.

I am Sentinel.

—-

  1. ARTICLE V — COMMAND AUTHORITY

Sentinel Response Group will maintain a defined Chain of Command responsible for the administration, training, deployment, and discipline of its personnel.

Authority flows from the senior leadership of SRG through subordinate commanders and designated operational leaders.

Rank grants authority only within the responsibilities assigned to that position.

Leadership within SRG is a responsibility rather than a privilege.

Commanders are expected to:

  • Maintain the readiness of their personnel.
  • Provide clear orders and mission objectives.
  • Consider the welfare of personnel under their command.
  • Maintain accountability.
  • Enforce organizational standards fairly.

  1. ARTICLE VI — ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

SRG may organize personnel into specialized branches, departments, detachments, squadrons, teams, or task forces according to operational requirements.

The organization should maintain capabilities covering four primary areas:

### Combat Operations

Ground forces responsible for direct action, security, boarding, recovery, and other infantry operations.

### Aerospace Operations

Pilots and spacecraft crews responsible for transportation, interception, escort, reconnaissance, close support, and space superiority.

### Special Operations

Selected personnel assigned to high-risk or specialized missions requiring advanced training, equipment, or operational independence.

### Support Operations

Medical, engineering, logistics, intelligence, transportation, and administrative personnel responsible for sustaining SRG operations.

When necessary, personnel from multiple elements may be combined into temporary Sentinel Task Forces for specific missions.

—-

  1. ARTICLE VII — CONTRACTS

SRG leadership retains authority to accept, negotiate, modify, or reject contracts.

Contracts should be evaluated based upon:

Legality — Risk — Compensation — Intelligence — Resources Required — Strategic Value — Reputation

SRG reserves the right to refuse contracts that unnecessarily endanger personnel, conflict with organizational interests, or would significantly damage the reputation of Sentinel Response Group.

Payment does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

Once a contract has been formally accepted, SRG will make every reasonable effort to fulfill its obligations.

—-

  1. ARTICLE VIII — RULES OF ENGAGEMENT

Sentinel personnel will operate according to the Rules of Engagement established for each mission.

Unless otherwise directed, personnel will use force when reasonably necessary to:

  • Protect themselves.
  • Protect fellow Sentinels.
  • Protect assigned clients.
  • Defend designated assets.
  • Accomplish authorized mission objectives.
  • Respond to confirmed hostile action or intent.

Unnecessary destruction, unauthorized engagements, and reckless actions that jeopardize the mission are prohibited.

Firepower is a tool. Mission accomplishment is the objective.

—-

  1. ARTICLE IX — EQUIPMENT & ASSETS

SRG may maintain organizational spacecraft, ground vehicles, weapons, armor, medical equipment, supplies, and other assets.

Members entrusted with SRG resources are responsible for their appropriate use.

Organizational equipment will not be intentionally abandoned, destroyed, sold, transferred, or misused without authorization except when operational circumstances require immediate action.

However:

Personnel take priority over equipment.

No Sentinel will be unnecessarily sacrificed solely to recover replaceable equipment.

—-

  1. ARTICLE X — TRAINING & READINESS

SRG will maintain a continuous training program designed to ensure operational readiness.

Training may include:

  • Infantry tactics
  • Weapons proficiency
  • Ship operations
  • Formation flying
  • Boarding procedures
  • Medical response
  • Combat Search & Rescue
  • Vehicle operations
  • Navigation
  • Communications
  • Reconnaissance
  • Leadership
  • Combined-arms operations

Training is intended to develop both individual proficiency and unit cohesion.

Mistakes during training should become lessons rather than mistakes repeated during operations.

—-

  1. ARTICLE XI — DISCIPLINE & ACCOUNTABILITY

All Sentinels are accountable for their conduct regardless of rank or position.

Violations may result in:

Verbal Correction → Formal Warning → Probation → Suspension → Demotion → Removal

The severity of disciplinary action will depend upon the nature of the violation, previous conduct, and circumstances surrounding the incident.

Severe misconduct may result in immediate suspension or removal.

No member is above SRG standards.

—-

  1. ARTICLE XII — INTERORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONS

Sentinel Response Group may cooperate with other lawful organizations, corporations, security forces, military units, or independent operators when such cooperation benefits the mission.

Alliances and partnerships will be established through authorized SRG leadership.

Individual members may not commit SRG to wars, alliances, contracts, or political agreements without authorization.

SRG will remain politically independent unless organizational leadership determines otherwise.

Sentinel serves the mission—not a political agenda.

—-

  1. ARTICLE XIII — THE SENTINEL STANDARD

Every person wearing the Sentinel name represents every member who stands beside them.

A Sentinel will strive to be:

Disciplined in action.

Professional in conduct.

Reliable under pressure.

Loyal to the team.

Adaptable in adversity.

Accountable for their actions.

SRG does not demand perfection.

It demands the willingness to learn, improve, and uphold the standards of the organization.

—-

  1. ARTICLE XIV — AMENDMENTS

This Charter may be amended as Sentinel Response Group develops and operational requirements change.

Major amendments require approval from SRG senior leadership.

Policies, SOPs, regulations, and other organizational documents may be established under the authority of this Charter provided they do not contradict its fundamental principles.

—-

  1. ARTICLE XV — FINAL DECLARATION

Sentinel Response Group exists because there will always be situations where ordinary security is not enough.

There will be ships that need escort.

People who need extraction.

Facilities that need defending.

Enemies that must be confronted.

And distress calls that someone must answer.

When that call comes, Sentinel responds.

We will deploy prepared.

We will operate professionally.

We will protect our own.

We will adapt when the situation changes.

And once we commit ourselves to a mission, we will see it through.
