History

Our Board of DBLACKLINE STRATEGIC LOGISTICS (BLKLOG)

Operational continuity in contested environments

Company Overview

Blackline Strategic Logistics is a privately held security and logistics firm operating throughout the Stanton system. The company provides contracted operational support to commercial and industrial clients whose activities require reliability in environments affected by instability, infrastructure degradation, or elevated risk.

Blackline’s mandate is straightforward: maintain continuity where disruption carries unacceptable cost.

Origins

Blackline Strategic Logistics was founded during a period of significant realignment in Stanton, following reductions in direct UEE military presence and an increased reliance by corporate entities on third-party operational support.

The company was established by Cole Mercer, whose background includes logistics, maintenance, and operational coordination roles within high-density corporate environments and fleet support structures. This experience informed Blackline’s early emphasis on preparation, redundancy, and controlled response frameworks.

From the outset, Blackline positioned itself as a firm focused on preventing operational failure rather than reacting to it.

Early Development

Blackline’s initial contracts focused on:

Armed transport support

Emergency logistics and recovery

Route security in low-compliance regions

Asset retrieval under disputed or degraded conditions

These early operations established the company’s reputation for discretion and reliability. Growth occurred through repeat engagements and referrals rather than public solicitation or advertising.

Operational Philosophy

Blackline operates on the assessment that most operational failures stem from systemic breakdowns rather than isolated hostile action.

Accordingly, the company prioritizes:

Risk analysis and mitigation

Defined escalation thresholds

Clear contractual scope

Accountability across all operational stages

Force, when required, is treated as a corrective measure of last resort and is applied strictly within contractual and regulatory boundaries.

Corporate Structure

Blackline Strategic Logistics is structured to support:

Security operations

Logistics coordination

Asset recovery

Compliance-driven risk management

The company maintains a deliberately lean profile, favoring small, specialized teams, clear chains of responsibility, and limited exposure over rapid expansion.

Blackline does not maintain standing combat units and does not participate in public bounty hunting or privateering activity.

Culture and Standards

Blackline emphasizes professional restraint, documentation accuracy, and client confidentiality. Personnel are selected for reliability and discretion rather than aggressiveness or visibility.

Operational success is measured by contract completion, continuity of client operations, and the absence of follow-on incidents.

Current Operations

Today, Blackline Strategic Logistics supports a limited client base across Stanton. The company remains selective in the contracts it accepts and maintains a low public profile by design.

Blackline’s growth strategy favors stability over scale, prioritizing long-term operational relationships over volume.

Public Positioning Statement

Blackline Strategic Logistics provides contracted security and operational support for clients operating in contested environments. We specialize in discretion, compliance, and continuity when standard remedies are insufficient.

Manifesto

The Blackline Standard

(Excerpt — Internal Reference)

Blackline Strategic Logistics exists because outcomes matter.

For decades, Blackline has operated in environments where reliability is not optional and failure carries real cost. Our work depends on the people we contract, deploy, and trust to operate under pressure without supervision, spectacle, or excess.

As operations expand, internal materials are occasionally surfaced alongside public-facing documentation. This standard reflects internal expectations that have guided Blackline long before its current presence in Stanton, Pyro, and Nyx.

We do not hire volume.
We hire capability.

Blackline contractors are selected for discipline, discretion, and judgment. Technical skill is expected. Professional restraint is mandatory. Our personnel understand that the fastest solution is rarely the correct one, and that escalation is a liability unless justified by contract and necessity.

We value individuals who can operate independently, document accurately, and disengage cleanly once objectives are met. Loud professionals create problems. Quiet professionals close them.

Blackline does not promise safety.
We promise preparation.

Our contractors understand that authority is delegated, not assumed. Every action taken under a Blackline contract must be defensible, documentable, and aligned with the defined scope of work. Initiative without accountability is unacceptable.

We measure success by continuity of operations, not visibility. If a contract concludes without incident, disruption, or follow-on action, it has been executed correctly.

Those who work with Blackline are expected to leave no signature beyond resolved objectives and accurate reports.

This standard has guided Blackline operations for years.
It remains unchanged.

Charter

Blackline Strategic Logistics
Organizational Charter & Standards
Purpose

Blackline Strategic Logistics (BLKLOG) exists to provide structured, disciplined gameplay and roleplay within Star Citizen through security and operational support activities. The organization prioritizes professionalism, reliability, and long-term sustainability over notoriety or volume.

This Charter establishes the standards of conduct required for participation in BLKLOG, both in-character (RP) and out-of-character (OOC).

Membership indicates acceptance of these standards.

I. General Membership Standards (Non-RP / OOC)

These standards take precedence over all roleplay considerations.

1. Professional Conduct

Members are expected to behave respectfully toward other players at all times.

Harassment, griefing, excessive trash talk, or hostile behavior outside agreed gameplay contexts is not tolerated.

BLKLOG does not engage in salt farming, pad ramming, stream sniping, or similar disruptive behavior.

We win or lose cleanly.

2. Discipline & Maturity

Members must be able to follow direction during group activities.

Arguing orders mid-operation, undermining leadership, or freelancing during coordinated play is unacceptable.

Disagreements are handled after operations, not during them.

If you cannot operate as part of a team, BLKLOG is not a good fit.

3. Communication Standards

Clear, concise comms are required during operations.

Excessive chatter, memes, or irrelevant conversation during active ops should be avoided.

Members must be able to switch to focused comms when required.

You do not need to be silent.
You do need to be controllable.

4. Reliability

Do not sign up for operations you cannot attend.

If you commit to a role, you are expected to show up prepared.

Repeated no-shows, late arrivals, or AFK behavior during ops may result in removal from active status.

Reliability matters more than skill.

5. No Lone-Wolf Behavior

BLKLOG does not support “main character” behavior.

Unauthorized actions that jeopardize group objectives or reputation are grounds for removal.

Independent activity under the BLKLOG tag must align with organizational standards.

If you want total freedom, fly solo.

II. Gameplay & Activity Standards (Non-RP)
1. Lawful / Grey Alignment

BLKLOG operates primarily within lawful or grey gameplay loops.

We do not engage in piracy, griefing, or random PvP.

Hostile actions must be justified by contract, event context, or mutual agreement.

Violence is a tool, not content.

2. Escalation Control

Escalation is always intentional.

Random engagement, baiting, or unnecessary combat reflects poorly on the organization.

Members are expected to disengage when objectives are met.

Winning is finishing the contract.

3. Reputation Protection

Your behavior reflects on BLKLOG whether you intend it to or not.

Members are expected to avoid public drama on Spectrum, Reddit, Discords, or in global chat.

Issues with other orgs are handled privately through leadership.

We do not fight reputation wars.

4. External Tools & Logistics Planning (RP-Integrated)

Blackline Strategic Logistics conducts a significant portion of its planning and coordination through third-party market analysis and logistics intelligence platforms, used in-character to represent trade networks, informant data, and non-public market visibility.

One such platform commonly used in BLKLOG operations is UEX Corp (uexcorp.space).

In RP context, these tools represent:

Aggregated logistics intelligence

Informal supply chain visibility

Brokered market access

Information acquired through legal, grey, or non-attributed channels

Use of UEX is optional, but members participating in logistics- or trade-focused RP are encouraged to engage with these tools to enhance immersion and consistency.

Leadership may reference UEX-derived data as in-character planning material during operations. Members are not required to independently use external platforms unless they choose to engage in logistics roles or RP scenarios that benefit from it.

BLKLOG recognizes that in-game conditions may diverge from any external data. Adaptability and professional conduct are expected at all times.

External tools are used to support roleplay and coordinated gameplay—not to dictate individual playstyles or enforce economic optimization.

5. Optional Tools Clarification

External logistics and planning tools used by Blackline Strategic Logistics are treated as narrative devices and coordination aids. Their use is optional and intended to enhance roleplay consistency and operational planning, not to mandate optimization or restrict individual playstyles.

III. Roleplay Standards (Lightweight, Optional, Consistent)

BLKLOG supports light to medium RP. Heavy RP is optional and never mandatory.

1. RP Tone

Corporate, professional, restrained.

No caricatures, no cartoon villains, no excessive monologues.

RP should support gameplay, not obstruct it.

If RP interferes with gameplay, gameplay wins.

2. In-Character Authority

Rank and authority exist for structure, not ego.

IC disagreements should never spill into OOC conflict.

OOC concerns override IC dynamics immediately.

There is no RP justification for bad behavior.

3. Confidentiality & Lore

Internal lore elements are not to be explained or exposed publicly.

Members are expected to maintain discretion in RP and OOC spaces.

Not everything needs to be shared or explained.

Subtlety is part of the brand.

IV. Enforcement
1. Leadership Authority

Leadership reserves the right to remove members who violate this Charter.

Not all removals require warnings.

Decisions are made in the interest of organizational stability, not popularity.

2. Zero-Tolerance Behaviors

Immediate removal may occur for:

Harassment or hate speech

Griefing or exploit abuse

Repeated insubordination

Public drama involving BLKLOG

Ignoring OOC boundaries under RP justification

V. Closing Statement

Blackline Strategic Logistics is not a casual org, a pirate crew, or a power fantasy.

It is a disciplined group built for players who value:

Structure

Professionalism

Controlled gameplay

Long-term reputation

If that aligns with how you play, you are welcome.

If not, there are many other orgs.
