The Black is Our Refuge. Justice is Our Trade.

The Blackstar Enclave is a roaming paramilitary brotherhood operating across the fringe systems of the UEE. Small in number but formidable in discipline, we function as a self-sufficient strike cell specializing in bounty hunting and industry.

History

The Blackstar Enclave traces its roots to a failed frontier security contract on the edge of UEE space. A decade ago, a small task force of freelance bounty operators and militia pilots was hired to secure an outpost along an unregulated travel lane. The job went sideways when both the employer and local law enforcement abandoned the region, leaving the team stranded, outgunned, and cut off from resupply.

Instead of scattering, the survivors pooled their resources, shared their ships, and fought their way out. That crucible — a mix of betrayal, desperation, and hard-earned reliance on one another — forged a bond stronger than any badge or corporate contract.

They left the outpost behind, but kept the unity they’d built in the black. Adopting the name Blackstar Enclave after the single beacon that lit their escape, the group chose a nomadic path, answering to their own code and each other rather than any government or syndicate.

Manifesto

We are the Blackstar Enclave—a brotherhood forged in the fringe and bound by a simple truth: no one survives out here alone.
Our purpose is clear, our code unbroken, and our path carved through the dark between stars.

We are hunters, builders, and survivors in equal measure.

We hunt because the frontier demands justice.
Fugitives, raiders, and those who prey on the weak will find no refuge from our reach. We take the contracts others won’t, not for glory, but because someone must.

We gather because the Enclave stands on its own feet.
We mine, salvage, and claim what the black provides. Every resource we pull from the void strengthens our independence and sharpens the edge we bring to the hunt.

We build because self-sufficiency is freedom.
Industry, craft, and forgework keep our ships flight-ready and our people fed. We don’t rely on the promises of governments or megacorps. We sustain our own.

We have no throne, no banner, no homeland but the night sky—
yet our loyalty to each other is absolute.

The Enclave moves where it must, strikes when it chooses, and endures what others cannot.
Our creed is simple:

Stand with your kin.
Carry your weight.
Finish the job.

For those with grit in their blood and purpose in their hands, the Blackstar burns brightest.

Charter

1. Loyalty to the Enclave

  • Members answer first to their kin and the Enclave above all else.
  • Betrayal, theft, or abandonment of comrades will not be tolerated.

2. Discipline and Responsibility

  • Every member maintains their role, ship, and equipment at operational readiness.
  • Missions, contracts, and tasks are undertaken with professionalism, precision, and accountability.

3. Self-Sufficiency

  • Members are expected to contribute to resource gathering, crafting, and industrial operations that sustain the Enclave.
  • Reliance on external support or patronage without cause is discouraged.

4. Respect for the Code

  • Operations are conducted under the Enclave’s grey-legal, frontier-honorable ethos: justice for hire, but never at the expense of the group’s integrity.
  • No member may compromise the Enclave’s reputation or jeopardize its survival for personal gain.

5. Confidentiality

  • Missions, methods, and Enclave internal affairs are to remain secure. Loose talk or exposure of operations to outsiders is grounds for immediate review.

6. Merit and Initiative

  • Skills, initiative, and competence are valued over rank or tenure.
  • Members are encouraged to innovate, suggest strategies, and lead when the situation demands.

7. Conflict Resolution

  • Disputes among members are handled internally with fairness and adherence to the Code.
  • External vendettas, personal grudges, or unnecessary hostilities are prohibited unless sanctioned by the Enclave.

Membership in the Blackstar Enclave is voluntary, but adherence is mandatory.
Those who cannot live by these principles do not belong in the black, nor under the Blackstar’s shadow.

Together, we endure. Together, we hunt. Together, we remain unbroken.
