BTC is a dormant awaiting the launch of the persistent universe. We intend to offer an easy stepping stone to the life, and profits, of an independent trader for those without the capital to buy their own cargo ships.
History
Welcome to the Bluebell Trading Company. A small family business, we were founded with nothing more than a simple market stall.
But that was over a century ago and now we’re entering a whole new phase in our story as we expand our operations off-world and into space as merchant traders.
All of our planetary operations have been liquidated and converted into the purchase of a Freelancer as the founding core of our merchant fleet, with more ship purchases to follow.
And, while we’re ready to take on the universe alone, we’d rather do it with friends. So we are now taking the unprecedented step of opening up this family business to taking on partners – and marking the beginning of a new chapter in our history.
We intend to offer something unique. Want the independent trader lifestyle and profits but can’t afford your own trading ship? Then join us.
As we expand we’ll be looking to hire captains for our fleet of ships and to welcome as partners those who already have trading vessels of their own. So join us as a Captain, paying us commission until you’ve bought out your ship outright, or skip straight to being a Partner with your own trading ship and let’s work together to pool our capital to make bigger profits.

Manifesto
Our goal is to expand our operations to a full merchant fleet composed of independent merchant traders operating their own ships and captains and crew employed on company owned ships.
We will provide a company bank, funded by a share of the profits made by all our traders, to give our members cheap, affordable loans needed to buy ships, equipment, insurance, seed money to buy cargo, and everything else they need to be a successful trader.
We will also ensure that all our members will have a say in the direction of the company. Anyone with their own trading ship who joins us will become a Partner with a fair say in the direction of our company. Any employee will be helped to buy out their company merchant vessel outright so that they can become a Partner.
If you’ve got your own ship join us as a merchant trader with the security and support of the company behind you. Need a short term loan to buy a cargo you know you can sell on at a profit? No problem.
If you haven’t got your own ship suitable for trading then how about working on a company ship for pay until you have enough money to buy your own? Or get a loan from the company to buy one.
And we won’t restrict our members either. Want to take a break from trading to go freelancing? That’s fine. Want to take a break from work? That’s fine as well. All we’ll ask is that you make your contributions to funding the bank from any profit you make on company time.
