BRITELIGHT is a combat search and rescue unit performing personnel recovery operations across Stanton.
When BRITELIGHT was created, its founder had a year’s worth of personnel recovery operations and two stints with other medical services providers under his belt.
An excerpt of a recent interview sheds light on the motivation behind the organization’s conception:
“It was clear early on that for medical services to be delivered reliably, a high degree of preparation and coordination was required. It took me a while to (…) understand why getting sufficiently motivated and trained operators on the duty rosters was such a challenge.
There’s a balancing act between having enough people on duty, reaching and maintaining the required level of training, and having sufficient funding for materiel and redundancies.
You realize quickly that for this to function you need a well designed, precisely working logistical backend to the operation (…).”
BRITELIGHT is the framework within which we strive to deliver more reliable combat search and rescue services.
An approach that has proven its value time and time again for over a millennium educates many of the decisions we make:
Don’t operate on theories – test them.
When an injured or stranded client needs saving from a hostile or otherwise unreachable area, it’s our duty to bring them home.
As members of BRITELIGHT, pararescue specialists rescue and medically treat downed personnel across Stanton and beyond.
These highly trained experts take part in every aspect of the mission and are skilled in extravehicular activities, vehicle boarding, structure infiltration, and infantry tactics. They are trained to operate in extreme temperatures in order to access any environment to save a life when called upon.
