History

Established in the year 2390 Big Shot Bounty Hunters have hunted some of the meanest criminals and no-gooders for almost 600 years. From the infamous UPE bomber Ardan Shar to the crime ring that gripped Terra long after the Messer era.

We here at BSBH have seen active service in every single war since our founding. Originally a Spec Ops group codenamed Big Shots, we were tasked with Dealing with those less desirable fellows who believed themselves above the law. During the First Teverin war, BSBH provided Colonel Ivar Messer himself, with critical and valuable fire support from both the air and the ground. That is ancient history however, and more recent conflicts have called us into battle. The Tevarin suicide over Elysium IV was the first time bounty hunters were seen in the limelight as the good guys! Despite the loss of Human lives, the large majority survived. A day all bounty hunters should remember and be proud of. A day when the famous bounty hunter Dutch McLarren along with Strut “Smiley” George and Basil “Spicy” Hanson prevented the lose of over 13 million lives. Big Shot earned its stripes that day. While no longer a Spec Ops group, Big shot Bounty Hunter founder Nathaniel Opyemus, had a vision to make a moral abiding organisation, to track down and capture the worst of the worst.

Manifesto

Here at Big Shot Bounty Hunters we have a simple ideology. Get rich. Get famous. Done.

We pride ourselves on our professionalism, handwork and our guarantee to successfully complete all contracts we take!

While we don’t have any particular political agenda, we will report to the people. Should governments or organisations get a little ahead of themselves we will happily put them back in there place. So our motives are good natured and we hope that you feel the same way.

Charter

Big Shot Bounty Oath

1. I will never harm another living being, unless forced to under act 1-17 of the Bounty Hunters Manuscript. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation and capital punishment depending on severity.

2. When needed i will be prepared for open conflict at a moments notice. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation.

3. I will defend the innocent under any and all circumstances, and prevent harm coming to them. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation.

4. I will not affiliate with a rival organisation to Big Shot Bounty Hunters, unless ordered to by my superior. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation.

5. Should i perish, whether on a mission or on the battlefield. All private belongings will be returned to my closest next of kin (or other specified persons.)

6. After every successful mission, or failure thereof, i will present myself to my superior for debriefing. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation.

7. I will protect the secrets of BIg Shot Bounty Hunters. Defending its privacy with my life. Failure to do so is punishable by expulsion from the organisation.

8. If I should fail a contract, I will be given a strike warning before one final warning. After which a suitable punishment will be devised. UNLESS completion conflicts with oaths 1 through to 4, under these circumstances no punishment will be necessary.

9. I will be the best of both my profession and my species. With these final words i swear to uphold all that is good in the universe. And swear to protect said universe until my dying breath.

Under certain “extreme” cases, an officer will decide upon any adjustments to rules.
