History
The Bad Wolf PCS Org was started by a single individual who aspired to live a free life in the ‘Verse— doing anything and everything.
Nothing interesting has happened so far.
Manifesto
Bad Wolf Private Contracting Services strives to be the best.
We believe that all jobs can help you in one way or another with every other job, even if that is slight.
Some examples:
- You can learn what region pirates are likely to attack based on commodity prices, what shipping lanes they may attack by participating in hauling work, and where they are likely to hide out based on rescue missions.
- You can become familiar with where the weak spots are on a ship through salvaging work, where medical/engineering/combat gear is likely to be stored by being a crew member on board a ship, as well as find the best spots for hunkering down for extended in-ship combat.
- You can gain valuable contacts by escorting/transporting VIPs, which can be helpful for any job; you can also gain good gossip and clues/tips for other jobs. A passerby talking about the sale prices of certain goods going up is a great tid-bit of information to get, as it lets us know where to expect pirates.
There are no jobs that do not aid a dedicated Contractor, in one way or another, to be the best they can be. These three smaller
Charter
The rules are straight forward.
1) Don’t commit offenses against org members. Need I say more?
2) Contracts are not free to take at will, unless we are stopped for the day, week, or month
- The Org moves as a group from place to place and has a Schedule for where it will be. So you need to propose contracts that align with that
schedule and the destination(s), as well as contracts that your Squad will be willing to do. We will generally go where there are higher chances for pirate activity.
3) Org Members will participate in all jobs on a rotating schedule.
- Your ability to take on contracts will depend on what job you are assigned. Jobs are rotated to ensure everyone has a chance to participate in the
more exciting combat focused ones. With that being said, we also accommodate non-combatant members.
- Though not considered private contracting work in the combat sense, the job rotation includes assisting with commodity trading, cargo hauling, VIP
escort/transportation, and exploration. You are not expected to trade/haul/escort/transport/explore or participate in combat, but you must at least help in some way.
4) A portion of all contract payouts will be given to the org to ensure steady supplies, continued operation, and as a symbol of your dedication.
- It should be mentioned that this fee is also used to build up a reserve of funds to ensure that each member is supplied and contract ready;
so basically extended insurance, in the case your gear is irretrievable.
