History
Chimera came into being when the Leadership of AIF and Team HFKT, two of Oceania leading Hell Let Loose communities expressed the desire to create a larger independent gaming organisation who could lead the way in both the casual and competitive Hell Let Loose scene. The focus for Chimera is being an inclusive, premium oceanic community that unites players to feel a sense of belonging to the community, by providing a fun, welcoming and encouraging culture.
Today our community branches across many different games from players who are pure casual to the highest competitive level. Chimera is about friendships in a supportive environment, we are a community of friends who pride ourselves in our inclusivity, community spirit and mateship. As a result of our community values, we are one of the largest independent Oceania gaming communities.
Manifesto
Chimera Intentions:
The intention of Chimera is to allow our members to have fun and enjoy the verse with an amazing community of likeminded individuals. We participate in a wide range of gameplay areas and org events to suit our casual and competitive members. We welcome all to join us in our journey of Star Citizen together.
Chimera Principles:
Mateship is an Australian and New Zealand cultural idiom that embodies equality, loyalty and friendship and we are proud that is one of our core values. We condone griefing and cheating in our community.
Chimera Policies:
As an organisation, we don’t participate in piracy, but we don’t limit our members as an individual. We have a zero tolerance for cheating and griefing of others. We are inclusive community, we expect all our members not to tarnish or bring the Chimera name in disrepute.
Charter
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to create a sense of belonging for our members, by providing a welcoming, encouraging and fun culture as if it’s just a large group of mates having fun.
Gameplay Participation:
We participate in all areas of gameplay, from in game events, PVP, PVE, mining, hauling and our own weekly events to name a few. As an organisation however we don’t participate in piracy. We do encourage participation in our weekly org events, but is not mandatory, nor do we have activity requirements.
Ranks and Leadership Structure:
We operate a flat ranking structure. A higher rank does not mean you have power over other lower ranked members. A rank reflects recognition of one’s continued and ongoing commitments and efforts within the community. Only Chimera Community Members are eligible for promotion through our ranks.

Code of Conduct:
1 Do not organise, participate in, or encourage harassment of others.
2 Do not organize or coordinate hate speech. It’s unacceptable to attack a person or a community based on attributes such as their race, ethnicity, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or disabilities.
3 Do not make threats of violence or threaten to harm others: This includes indirect threats, as well as sharing or threatening to share someone’s private personal information (also known as doxing).
4 Advertising for other clans and communities of any kind is not allowed without approval from Leadership, poaching will not be tolerated. This includes direct messaging fellow members.
5 Your affiliation with Chimera extends beyond our organisation, when interacting with others do not bring the Chimera Community into disrepute. Chimera Leadership reserves the right to protect the integrity of our community and will remove anyone from any of our platforms as required.
6 No cheating or griefing. We believe in playing fair and preserving the integrity of the games we enjoy. Using cheats in any game will result in an instant ban from our community.
