The Ancient European Union: The Collective adopts a model of economic integration, open trade routes, and mutual industrial aid. Member organizations retain their identity and sovereignty while enjoying shared security, joint logistics, and combined economic leverage.

The Galactic Republic: Referencing legendary tales from an age-old Earth mythos, the Collective strives for diplomatic representation, collective council governance, and unified peacekeeping. It serves as a democratic beacon where every crew and faction has a voice in shaping the future.

Charter

The charter of the citizens collective

This Charter serves as the foundational law of The Citizens Collective. By joining our Assembly (whether as an individual Citizen or an Affiliated Organization) all members agree to uphold these core pillars, maintain our shared ideals, and abide by the collective will of the Senate.

I. Equality & Mutual Respect

The Principle of Parity: We believe in fundamental equality across the Collective. Every Citizen, crew member, and member organization (regardless of fleet size, wealth, or operational domain) holds equal worth in our community.

Collaborative Spirit: We work as one unified force. Rivalry among members yields to solidarity; competition yields to mutual success.

Respect for Leadership: While every voice is valued, effective coordination requires structure. Members and affiliated fleets are expected to respect the established chain of command and operational hierarchy during official events, missions, and council proceedings.

II. Conduct & Courtesy

Civilized Discourse: Debates in the Senate and communications across space lanes can become intense, but courtesy remains paramount. Personal attacks, harassment, toxic behavior, and excessive profanity are strictly prohibited.

Representation: When flying under the banner of The Citizens Collective, every member acts as an ambassador. Dishonorable conduct, griefing, or unprovoked hostility toward neutral entities reflects on us all and will not be tolerated.

III. Democratic Governance & Compliance

The Will of the Senate: Democracy is the bedrock of our union. Major policies, alliances, and joint operational strategies are debated and voted upon within the Collective Assembly.

Binding Decisions: Once a resolution is democratically passed by the Senate, it becomes binding for all participating organizations and individual members.

Sanctions & Exclusion: Failure to comply with democratically mandated directives, or intentional subversion of the Collective’s unity, will trigger review by the High Council. Non-compliance may result in diplomatic warnings, revocation of privileges, or outright exclusion from the Collective.

IV. Sovereignty & Mutual Defense

Autonomous Identity: Affiliated organizations retain complete authority over their internal affairs, recruitment, and culture. The Collective governs shared interests, not internal operations.

Collective Shield: An attack on one member organization’s legitimate trade, industrial, or defensive operations in the Verse is considered an interest of the entire Collective. We stand united against external threats and corporate aggression.
