Church of the Journey / COTJ

“The Church, which rose to prominence toward the end of the last century, was founded by Vita Perry and began as a form of meditation, but grew into a Secular Sentient’s faith that celebrates the journey rather than the origin or destination. The group’s missionaries, known as Journeymen, travel throughout the UEE and even into Xi’An and Banu space to share their experiences and spread the word their principles.”

The Church of the Journey as player organisation was founded based on lore found within an older News Update, describing a few sparse facts about the religion itself and it’s chief holiday.

With its focus on travels and experiences gathered along the way the church wants to be a gathering place for adventurous characters, explorers, scouts, space traders, basicaly anyone whose live is dedicated to journeying in one way or another.
But not only for those characters whose live is based on travel and exploration but also for anyone who wants to participate in the stories and shared knowledge of all the travelers within the church.

Even though there are quite a lot of groups that focus on exploration the church wants to be a place without the strict rules and regulations of other orgs, it is thought to be a place for any travelers who not only want to explore, but freely share their knowledge and experience with other likeminded people.
