History
The origins of the Crimson Suns trace back to the earliest years of Martian colonization during humanity’s aggressive expansion across the Sol System. Mars was still a hostile frontier — its cities unfinished, its atmosphere unstable, and its colonies vulnerable to piracy, sabotage, and corporate warfare.
At the time, massive resource corporations competed violently for control of Martian oil reserves, mineral extraction zones, underground water deposits, and terraforming infrastructure. The UEE lacked the manpower to fully secure the growing settlements, leaving corporations and civilians exposed to raiders and criminal syndicates operating beyond regulated space.
To fill that void, several private security groups were contracted by industrial leaders and colonial administrators. Among them was a small but highly effective protection force operating out of the southern Martian extraction belts.
That force would eventually become known as The Crimson Suns.
The name originated from the blood-red Martian sunsets under which the company conducted many of its earliest defensive operations. Stories spread quickly among settlers of armored operators emerging through Martian dust storms to repel pirate attacks and recover kidnapped workers.
Within decades, the Crimson Suns developed a reputation for brutal efficiency, contract loyalty, and survival against overwhelming odds.
The Corporate Wars Era
As Martian industry expanded, tensions between rival corporations escalated into covert conflicts commonly referred to as the Corporate Wars. Assassinations, sabotage, data theft, convoy raids, and private militias became common throughout the system.

We were born beneath the red skies of Mars.
Before the trade lanes were safe. Before the corporations built their towers. Before the United Empire claimed order among the stars, there were raiders, pirates, smugglers, and warlords feeding on the weak settlers clawing a life out of Martian soil.
The Crimson Suns were forged in that chaos.
What began as a hardened security force protecting the first colonies and industrial convoys became something greater — a brotherhood and sisterhood of survivors, mercenaries, hunters, and guardians. We stood between civilization and collapse while executives hid behind contracts and soldiers hid behind politics.
We protected the people.
We protected the resources that kept Mars alive.
And when necessary, we protected the men and women powerful enough to shape the future.
Generations have worn the Crimson Suns insignia. Many among our ranks are descendants of the original operators who fought in the dust storms of old Mars. Our bloodlines carry discipline, resilience, and the understanding that survival is never guaranteed.
We are not heroes.
We are not villains.
We are what the frontier requires.

THE CRIMSON SUNS CHARTER
ESTABLISHED ON MARS DURING THE FIRST COLONIAL EXPANSION
PREAMBLE
We, the operators, commanders, veterans, and inheritors of the Crimson Suns legacy, do hereby establish this Charter as the foundation of our order, our conduct, and our continued survival among the stars.
Born beneath the red skies of Mars during the age of chaos and expansion, the Crimson Suns were forged to defend settlers, secure industry, eliminate threats, and preserve the stability of humanity’s frontier.
This Charter exists to preserve our traditions, define our authority, and ensure the continuation of the Crimson Suns for generations to come.
ARTICLE I — PURPOSE
The Crimson Suns exist for the following purposes:
To provide armed protection and tactical services to contracted clients.
To conduct bounty hunting, mercenary operations, escort missions, recovery operations, and security enforcement.
To preserve the strength, reputation, and prosperity of the Crimson Suns.
To defend fellow operators under the protection of the Charter.
To maintain operational independence from political factions, empires, and corporate control.
The Crimson Suns recognize no ideology above survival, loyalty, and the fulfillment of honorable contracts.
ARTICLE II — THE CODE OF THE SUNS
Every operator of the Crimson Suns is bound by the following code:

A contract accepted by the Crimson Suns shall be completed to the fullest extent possible unless voided by betrayal, deception, or dishonor from the client.

ARTICLE III — MEMBERSHIP
Membership within the Crimson Suns is earned, never granted freely.
