CryoLink is for all pilots.
It’s not a faction — no home port, no mission, no leadership.
It’s a network built on trust, quiet handshakes, and the understanding that sometimes… the chain can help.
We’ve got a little lore to keep things interesting — roleplay’s optional.
Founded by a pilot who vanished into the black, only to reappear in the darkest hours of others, CryoLink became a code — a call — a myth among loners. No contracts. No obligations. But one truth:
“When you call, the chain will answer.”
CryoLink is not written in the UEE records. But scraps of its existence appear in obscure data vaults, personal logs, and encrypted whispers across the Stanton system.
Known Relics & Mentions:
- Fragment-17: “Frost burns brighter in vacuum” – recovered from derelict comms array near Daymar.
- Echo-9 Audio Loop: a looped SOS that ends with ‘…only the chain remains…’
- Cryo Key Cipher: A set of coordinates hidden in a miner’s diary. Led to a hidden cache marked with the CryoLink sigil.
These relics are not confirmed — but among Link Runners, they are passed quietly from pilot to pilot.
Some say CryoLink was started by a rogue AI that bonded with a dying pilot.
Others believe it’s older than the UEE itself, a code buried in forgotten software still running on abandoned stations.
Among the faithful, CryoLink is more than a safety net — it’s a code: That the lone will never be lost.
Pilots have reported mysterious assists in black space — unknown ships arriving, helping, then fading. No ID, no thank-you. Just a symbol, etched on a hull panel… and silence.
CryoLink is not a legend.
It’s just quiet enough to be missed.
CryoLink is a decentralized sleeper network of pilots in the ‘verse. We operate independently, but share a bond forged in the void. We are explorers, mercenaries, traders, medics — united not by a fleet, but by trust.
There are no leaders barking orders, no mandatory operations, no base of operations. We fly alone. Until the signal comes.
“When the signal echoes, we respond.”
1. Purpose
We do not recruit fleets.
We do not host parades.
We are the silent chain — always alert, never alone.
2. Identity
The Chain: pilots who bear the mark of the Link Runner — those who answer the call.
At our center stands the Rensa no Shugosha — Guardian of the Chain, Holding the watch until their link is reclaimed by the void — and the chain calls another.
3. Code of Conduct
Fly Free – No command. You are autonomous.
Respond When You Choose – The Link is never forced. You answer only when you’re able.
Never ask for more than you’re willing to give.
Protect the Chain – Do no harm to fellow Link Runners.
