History
CYN-LABS RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT began as an off-the-books think tank buried in a forgotten data-server, quietly aggregating anomaly reports, corrupted sensor logs, and “impossible” incident files from across the ‘verse. When conventional science refused to acknowledge the cracks in the simulation, CYN-LABS went private, weaponizing curiosity and corporate funding to chase answers no one officially wanted. Operating out of deniable facilities and disposable front companies, the Lab now conducts high‑risk field experiments, resource extraction runs, and deep-space surveys to map, stress-test, and ultimately exploit whatever is manipulating reality. If you have the nerve to look behind the curtain—and survive what looks back—you’re cleared to report to the nearest CYN-LABS contact node.

Manifesto
Reality is not a fixed constant; it is a negotiable contract written by whoever understands the underlying code. CYN-LABS exists to locate the edges of that contract and push until something breaks. We believe anomalies, glitches, and “bugs” in the ‘verse are not accidents, but invitations—evidence that someone or something has been here before us, editing the rules. Our mission is to harvest the resources, data, and lived experience required to decode those edits, then leverage that knowledge for profit, power, and a little bit of cosmic spite. We are miners, explorers, haulers, mercs, and misfits bound by one principle: curiosity is worth more than comfort. If it scares the insurance underwriters and confuses the UEE, it probably belongs in the Lab.

CYN-LABS conducts mining, logistics, exploration, freelancing, and security operations in service of experimental objectives. Members are encouraged to propose and participate in “tests” that generate interesting data, stories, or profit—ideally all three.
2. Conduct In and Out of Character
We roleplay a morally gray black-lab corporation, but we treat real humans with respect. No harassment, hate speech, or targeted griefing. Keep the evil in-lore, keep the people out-of-lore safe.
3. Participation and Commitment
We are a “regular” commitment org: real life comes first. There are no mandatory grind quotas or attendance requirements, but if you sign up for an op, show up or communicate.
4. Loot, Credits, and Data
Profit splits will be declared before each operation. Experimental “data” (finds, locations, methods) is considered an org asset unless explicitly agreed otherwise. Don’t steal from the Lab.
5. Representation
When you fly with the CYN-LABS tag, you represent the project, the content, and the brand. Keep behavior within RSI ToS and avoid actions that could get the org or its members penalized.
6. Security and Secrecy
Some projects will be flagged as classified. Members agree not to share locations, methods, or plans for those ops outside the org without permission. If in doubt, ask before you leak.
7. Final Authority
Organization leadership reserves the right to remove members who repeatedly violate this charter or disrupt the environment we’re building. The simulation is unstable enough already.
