The focus of The Dredge [DDGE] is getting to get to know aware surrounding (Exploration) and find good resources (Mining) and keeping it in control.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
In The Dredge [DDGE] Duty does not mean slavery.
Members in [DDGE] are free to choose their own path to glory within The Dredge, but are encouraged to participate and contribute to the corporation on a regular basis.
We are all so looking for alliances with other corporation as it will be critical to maintain a good growth and having better defenses.
(Exploration) Will give us an advantage in finding better resources and getting Intel of where our enemies are located and finding faster routes to safety.
(Resources) Will give us an advantage on controlling prices up to a certain degree and in having Resources as backup and stockpiling will be handy during time of war as all items comes from the Resources we gather which in term gives better income to us all.

The Dredge Corporation has the following divisions in which our members fall into.
Exploration Division:
Leader:
Responsibilities:
info coming soon!
Mining Division
Leader:
Responsibilities:
The Mining Division is responsible for bringing in Ore and minerals for all of the Corporation’s manufacturing needs. These ore and minerals are bought by the Corporation at just below average regional price (?) or (?) This allows the corporation to attain its manufacturing needs and allow the members of the mining division to make UEC (United Earth Credits). Mining ops. happen throughout the week and weekends. It is not uncommon for members of the Mining Division to be members of other departments – this is true for most of the divisions in The Dredge Corporation.
Logistics / Marketing Division
Leader:
Responsibilities:
The Logistics / Marketing Division is responsible for transporting the extra Ore, Minerals, Ice, finished products and seeds various stations around the Heath Region and places them in the marketplace for sale. The cost of fuel for Carriers is covered by the corporation.
They also help with carrying the Ore from the mining ops to the Station with the same payout of the mining ops
Security Division:
Leader:
Responsibilities:
The Security Division is The Dredge Corporation’ formal Navy. As such, they provide protection on mining ops, especially on those scheduled in low-sec space; logistics runs when we are transporting goods to seed throughout the region; and also provide the offensive and defensive support in times of conflict with rival corporations.
Members of the Security Division routinely fly patrol through our home systems in order to keep in practice for fleet formation and tactics and also routinely run missions, which helps our corporations faction with various other corporations, with the goal of providing safe refuges.

This is the single most useful bit of The Dredge Corporation business plan!
here we need to find a way to show how financially we will be able to succeed.
The Overhead Costs:
The first thing we need to figure out is what are The Dredge Corporation overhead (main costs) fixed costs. These are the costs that aren’t going to go away without causing major change to The Dredge Corporation.
Station office costs fuel, and alliance costs make up a majority of these kinds of costs and no matter what happens, we will need to bring in this much UEC (United Earth Credits) to cover those costs though maybe the fuel can be farmed by The Dredge Corporation, but we still need have an understanding of how much the fuel will cost, as we never know when we may need to buy some at some point in The Dredge Corporation life).
Operating Costs:
Operating costs differ from overhead costs because they are more pliable and fluctuate more often, usually based off of the current market.
Obviously some of these costs will fluctuate as The Dredge Corporation expands – prices of Ore, Minerals or Fuel may rise, profits from the sales of the production may go down; ships get attacked and cargo is lost, etc.
This allows us to figure out future planning forThe Dredge Corporation so we can determine timelines and get The Dredge Corporation into position to act on those plans.

Corp UEC (United Earth Credits) Flow:
where does the UEC (United Earth Credits) come from?
Like any corporation though, we will want to bring in a steady stream of profit in order to expand and develop into an even more prestigious corporation.
The Dredge Corporation Taxation Plan
(CEO) Like any corporation though, we will want to bring in a steady stream of profit in order to expand and develop into an even more prestigious corporation.
The corp UEC (United Earth Credits) taxes flow will vary month to month and will depend on several factors.
this tax rate will be lowered or raised and as will be a big boon to corporations, especially starting out.
The tax limit for theThe Dredge Corporation is : 2%-10%
(CEO) I do believe that taxation should at the very least cover the overhead expenses of The Dredge Corporation.
(CEO) what i think we should do is :
Bearing in mind, that the taxation is purely theoretical in this comment.
Taxation comes in two flavors at The Dredge Corporation.
The first is a standard 3-10% tax on members. This accounts for a varying degree of income, with tracking every month. The second flavor is known as W2 or Work Weekend. One weekend a month is declared W2 (usually 2-3 weeks notice) and the weekend starting on Friday at Midnight (server time) to Sunday at Midnight (server time), the tax is increased to 75%. Several various ops will be run on those weekend, for all of the divisions and while not mandatory, members are strongly encouraged to participate in these ops.
With good attendance, these W2’s can bring in alot of UEC (United Earth Credits) per month so we can use this UEC (United Earth Credits) to grow The Dredge Corporation faster.

In the event of the Corporation business model failure, The Dredge Corporation does have a bailout plan that we will put into action. This plan will only be used under the following circumstances:
The Bailout Plan Action Of The Dredge Corporation
At this point, The Dredge Corporation will keep its doors open for 15 days and close any and all recruiting. During the 15 days all operations will cease and the following will occur:
1. All assets will be sold off and all so used to pay any debts remaining.
2. All monetary assets left will be divided 50/50 amongst the members and leadership 50% split to the number of members in the corp 50% to the number of corp leadership
3. A letter of recommendation will be written for every member to use as they see fit.
4. On the 16th day, The Dredge Corporation will cease with all members and leadership being removed (or removing themselves) from the corporation.

To see…
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
While we understand that sometimes things don’t go to according to plan we should still however be prepared.
(CEO) = a study for WoW actually estimated that as much as 2/3 of the Corp/Clan/Guilds membership will not remain a member for longer than a year.
That means if we begin with 30 members. The chances are that only 10 will remain after 12 months.
This is why i need all corp members to help with recruiting in this corporation
There are two main approaches we can take when recruiting:
(CEO) I think for a successful corporation we should be seeking to continually slow growth.
If we grow too fast it can also means we might end up burnout members and the core funders faster. If we grow slower we can also end up with people being bore to death This is the danger with recruiting.
1- An all-in approach, which in essence means we want as many members as you can find
(This is an easy approach to recruiting and it basically suggests that we recruit, recruit, recruit. We will come across people we don’t want or won’t fit into the corporation and this approach doesn’t mean we have to accept them. This approach simply means we want as many members as we can possibly get. Several successful corporations and Guild work this way.)
I must advise to the dangers with the “recruit, recruit, recruit” mentality. There are Corporations that make their UEC (United Earth Credits) by infiltrating Prestigious/renowned Corporations and stealing assets or leaking sensitive information.
2- Maintenance approach, which in essence means we have to determine how many members we want/need to maintain the corporation.
( we then continue to recruit to maintain that level. The best way to do this is through simple numbers. Let’s say we want to grow a corporation up to 300 members. We know that we can potentially lose 2/3 or 200 of them in the first year. So, we want to proactively recruit 200 members in that year’s time – or 17 members a month. This also means that the membership base will fluctuate some.)
The Dredge Corporation needs the following active number of members to ensure growth:
Goal #1
Mining Division: 10 members
Manufacturing Division: 2-3 members
Logistics Division: 2 members
Security Division: 2-3 members
Total members: 18 members
Goal #2
Mining Division: 20 members
Manufacturing Division: 5 members
Logistics Division: 3-4 members
Security Division: 5 members
Total members: 34 members
Long Term Goal:
Initial recruiting drive will be for 80 members. The Dredge Corporation expects to lose 60% of members within any given year. This means that The Dredge Corporation will need to recruit an additional 48 members per year in order to maintain a total of 80 members. In order to grow the corporation on a timely basis, it is estimated that The Dredge Corporation should grow 30% a year. Taking into account a loss of up to 60% membership base every two years, our recruiting numbers will need to be:
80 members initially starting on
72 members within the first year (6/month)
Goal of 104 members starting year 2
99 members within year 2 (8.25/month)
Goal of 135 members starting year 3
115 member within year 3 (10/month)
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
1- Start doing the corp mining ops
2- Ones corp has the UEC (United Earth Credits) the Ore buyback program will be open
3 – New mining OPS way of working will be open and the temporary one will be suspended
4- by now the corp should have the business plan all set up with all the parts filled up
5- Once the CEO, mining director or corp director has 100% refining with the HQ the manufacturing division will start
6- By then i hope someone will have a good ship to start the Logistics Division
this might be a slow game so grab some space pocket and chew… not the green ones
well i hope we all get this up and running while having fun doing so all together.

4/14/2014Our Board of Directors will unveil our official corporate statements soon. Please come back for updated information.
Code of Conduct:
Our members are honest in their dealings both with one another and the community
We don’t lie, cheat or deceive. Our word is trustworthy. In times of war, strategic and tactical considerations may require temporary departures from this concept from the perspective of our enemies, but our allies and other members should never be given doubt about our commitment to operate with integrity. This includes actions such as honoring 1v1 agreements.
Our members treat all pilots both inside and outside the corp with respect:
Members are expected to be respectful. There will be no tolerance for personal attacks, smack talk, abuse, disparaging remarks and ridicule, either in-game or out. Spamming channels should also be avoided. Property rights of others, both members and the community, are always to be respected in all forms. Members will not engage in scamming or ransoming.
Our members keep all public communication channels free of inappropriate content:
While we appreciate that losing your ship to the last rat in a mission, falling for a contract scam, or having everything you own destroyed by a pirate in LoSec can be infuriating, members avoid profanity where possible. While occasional mild profanity may be tolerated, it is neither required or expected in common usage. Sexual or other off-color chat is to be avoided at all times, and there is very little tolerance in this regard.
Our members do not exploit or otherwise violate the Games EULA and TOS:
For all members of (DDGE) actions which breach the End User Licence Agreement (EULA) or Terms of Service (TOS) for Star Citizen as set by Cloud Imperium Games Corporation & Roberts Space Industries Corp, are prohibited. Examples of these are account sharing and purchasing of UEC (United Earth Credits) or in-game items for real money that’s not from the official Voyager Direct page (official star citizen online store). Any member found to have engaged in any actions forbidden in the (EULA) / (TOS) will be immediately removed. In the event that a member has mistakenly breached the (EULA), they are encouraged to petition Cloud Imperium Games Corporation & Roberts Space Industries Corp themselves via the normal channels to resolve the issue. Similarly, if a member has reason believe another player is violating the (EULA) / (TOS), they are encouraged to petition them, and must not take any action in-game. Violations of the (TOS), such as baiting in rookie systems, will result in being kicked.
Our members are free to make their own choices:
The corporation does not require members to live in certain star-systems and they may choose their own play times. Members are free to explore any of the skill sets available in New Eden at their own pace, in addition to participating in both scheduled and unscheduled activities, as long as their actions do not conflict these policies. It is important that all members are aware that the restrictions laid out in the policies are based on many years of experience, and allow us to fulfill our mission while providing a suitable environment for new pilots.
Our members are encouraged to balance “self” with “service”:
When they first join the DDGE, members are usually focused on advancing their skills, establishing a viable personal economy and generally learning how things work. As experience and knowledge levels increase, the members who were once new find that they are able to support the next generation of new pilots. The majority of our members naturally progress in this activity, and those that choose to stay with (DDGE) for longer periods often find this role very fulfilling and a primary reason for remaining.
Security Status:
members are encouraged to maintain a positive Security Status during their time in the corporation.
Communications:
Chat channels and Mailing Lists:
- All chat channels or TS3 channels must be created by the CEO.
In-Game and TS3:
- Apart from an occasional ‘GF’ (good fight) in local, (DDGE) members must not speak to War-Targets at any time via local, private conversations or any other means than official (DDGE) such as (DDGE) channels, forums, TS3, etc., and any attempts by hostile parties to contact a member outside of these methods must be reported to a director and/or diplomat immediately. Please refrain from using an alt to smacktalk.
- Conversations with (DDGE) alumni are are always allowed, however members are reminded to remain civil and report any issues to management immediately.
- During fleet operations there is a strict no-talking-in-local policy. Fleet Commanders may allow a ‘GF’ in local after a fight at their discretion.
- During fleet operations there is a ‘no chat’ restriction on the TS3 channel for the duration of the operation. Communications must be kept clear for reporting. Fleet Commanders may soften this at their discretion.
Consequences:
Failure to follow the above may result in one or more of the below consequences.
- An unpleasant talk with a senior member of the corporation or another senior member of the alliance.
- Reduction or removal of roles/titles within the corporation.
- Suspension pending investigation.
- Destruction of your ship and/or pod.
- Expulsion from your corporation.
