Deadwire is a mercenary group driven by the pursuit of freedom and wealth. We carve our own path, taking on high-risk contracts, strategic piracy, and combat missions to maximize profit. We believe freedom is earned—through skill, strategy, and when necessary, force.
History
Deadwire began as a small collective of like-minded individuals who sought independence from the growing control of larger organizations and corporations. Born from the need to live on our own terms, we rallied together for one common purpose: freedom.
Our earliest days were spent on the outskirts of the galaxy, operating out of the unseen corners, where profit could be earned without the watchful eye of the law. As our reputation grew, so did our operations. We took jobs for those who could pay and sought out opportunities that increased our influence. Combat became a tool, but not our sole focus. Negotiation, strategy, and cunning were just as important in achieving our goals.
Today, Deadwire is an elite and effective mercenary group, known for taking on high-risk assignments and securing profits through a combination of legal and not-so-legal means. We’re not pirates, we are freedom-driven opportunists, always on the lookout for the next big score and the next fight worth fighting.
Manifesto
We are Deadwire, the few who refuse to bend to the will of others. Our creed is built on brotherhood, profit, and the pursuit of freedom.
1. Freedom is the Right of All: We believe that no one should be bound by the restrictions of any government, faction, or corporate entity. Our destiny lies in our own hands.
2. We Seek Profit: Wealth is the fuel that powers our freedom. Whether through honest work or strategic combat, we will do what it takes to make our members rich.
3. Combat is a Tool: We will fight when it is necessary and profitable, but we are not murderers. We are mercenaries, not pirates, and we do not engage in needless violence. Our target is profit, not destruction.
4. We Work With Anyone: Whether friend or foe, if you share our ideals of freedom and profit, we will work with you. If you stand in the way of our goals, we’ll move you aside—professionally and efficiently.
5. Survival of the Fittest: We thrive because we adapt, we grow, and we evolve. Our members are our strength, and we will not hesitate to protect what we’ve built.
Charter
Article I: Purpose
Deadwire exists to provide its members with freedom and opportunity, focusing on mercenary and combat-based contracts, as well as operations that generate wealth. We are independent, and we answer to no one but ourselves.
Article II: Membership
Membership is open to those who can prove themselves capable in combat, negotiation, and tactical operations. Every member is expected to contribute to the success and profitability of the organization. New members are welcomed based on their skills and willingness to uphold the values of freedom, profit, and professionalism.
Article III: Operations
Deadwire operates in a wide range of environments, from high-risk combat zones to corporate espionage. We engage in strategic piracy against those who deserve it, never acting impulsively or recklessly. Our operations are carefully planned, and profit is the end goal of every action.
Article IV: Ethics
While we may engage in piracy, we do not kill without cause. We do not engage in random acts of violence or unnecessary destruction. We are professionals. Every mission is calculated, and the value of mutual benefit is always at the forefront of our dealings.
Article V: Leadership
Deadwire is led by a Council of Commanders, each overseeing different aspects of the organization’s operations. Leadership is earned, not inherited, and every commander must prove their worth through skill, results, and loyalty to the cause.
