Delta Security Solutions is a professional private military corporation operating throughout the outer systems of the verse. Built on the principles of discipline, reliability, and adaptability, DSS provides a structured home for pilots, marines, security specialists, and support staff.
The Call to Arms
Delta Security Solutions (DSS) was founded in the early decades of the 30th century by a small group of former military personnel, security contractors, and civilian pilots who recognized a growing need for dependable private security throughout the UEE and frontier systems. As trade routes expanded and independent organizations pushed deeper into unregulated space, many companies and settlers found themselves vulnerable to piracy, hostile actors, and the limitations of overstretched local security forces. Rather than creating another mercenary outfit driven solely by profit, the founders envisioned a professional contracting organization built around discipline, accountability, and operational excellence. Their goal was simple: provide freelance security personnel with the structure and training of a military unit while preserving the flexibility and independence that attracted many contractors to private security work in the first place.Expansion Through Professionalism
In its early years, DSS accepted a wide range of contracts, including cargo escorts, facility security, reconnaissance operations, search-and-rescue support, and anti-piracy patrols. While larger organizations often possessed superior numbers, Delta Security Solutions quickly developed a reputation for accomplishing missions efficiently and with minimal losses. The corporation’s growth was driven not by aggressive recruitment campaigns, but by word-of-mouth recommendations from satisfied clients. Traders, industrial corporations, and independent organizations began seeking out DSS personnel specifically because of their professionalism and reliability. As demand increased, the organization expanded its infrastructure, establishing dedicated training programs, operational command structures, and standardized procedures. Every contractor entering DSS was expected to meet strict operational standards, ensuring that clients could trust any team bearing the Delta name. The Delta Standard
Today, Delta Security Solutions is recognized as one of the most organized freelance contracting organizations operating in known space. Unlike many independent security groups that rely on loose affiliations, DSS maintains a clearly defined chain of command, comprehensive training requirements, and mission-specific operational doctrines. Members regularly participate in tactical exercises, fleet maneuvers, and cross-discipline training designed to improve coordination between pilots, infantry, logistics specialists, and command personnel. This emphasis on preparedness allows DSS units to rapidly adapt to changing battlefield conditions while maintaining cohesion under pressure. The organization’s philosophy centers on the belief that professionalism is a force multiplier. A smaller, disciplined unit operating under a common doctrine can often outperform larger but less coordinated groups.Present Day
Today, Delta Security Solutions continues to serve clients across the UEE and beyond, providing highly trained freelance contractors for a wide variety of missions. Whether defending valuable cargo, securing strategic assets, conducting reconnaissance, or supporting large-scale organizational operations, DSS remains committed to delivering reliable results through preparation, discipline, and teamwork.Delta Security Solutions: Operational Ruleset
1. Chain of Command
All operatives fall under a strict hierarchy. Orders flow downward, reports flow upward. No freelance decision-making during active contracts unless authorized by command staff.
2. Contract Discipline
All contracts accepted through Delta Security Solutions are binding. Once deployed, operatives are expected to complete objectives unless extraction is ordered by command or client agreement is formally terminated.
3. Professional Conduct
Members represent the organization at all times in Star Citizen. Harassment, reckless behavior, or actions that damage Delta’s reputation are grounds for disciplinary review or removal.
4. Operational Security (OPSEC)
No sharing of mission details, fleet movements, loadouts, or internal communications outside authorized channels. Breaches of OPSEC are treated as severe violations.
5. Combat Engagement Protocol
Engagement is authorized only under contract terms or explicit command authorization. Unauthorized combat actions, piracy, or aggression toward neutral parties is prohibited unless contract dictates otherwise.
6. Fleet Coordination Standards
All pilots and ground units must follow assigned roles during operations. Breaking formation, ignoring comms, or refusing coordination compromises mission integrity and will be reviewed.

All members must maintain baseline combat readiness. Regular drills, flight training, and tactical exercises are mandatory for active status.
8. Equipment Responsibility
Members are responsible for maintaining their own ships, gear, and weapons in operational condition. Failure to maintain readiness may result in suspension from missions.
9. Loot & Compensation Distribution
All contract rewards are distributed according to predefined Delta Security Solutions share agreements. Unauthorized claiming or withholding of assets is considered theft.
10. Discipline & Accountability
Violations of Delta rules are reviewed by command staff. Depending on severity, consequences may include warning, demotion, contract exclusion, or expulsion from the organization.
