Here at DRIFT Faction, we are a collective of pilots, racers, and crew— all drawn together by our shared yearning for a life beyond the confinements of the UEE’s grasp. We yearn for the thrill of our… unique hobbies.. such as “Distortion Buggy Racing” and the daring art of “Low Flying,” which keep our hearts racing, and our blood pumping in the vastness of the cosmos.
Our ambitions have led us to chart a course towards a desolate star system, where we aim to establish our own self-sustaining colony—a sanctuary away from the UEE’s watchful eye. Picture a place where freedom, creativity, and individuality flourish amidst the stars. Our ships may bear the scars of time, adorned with rust and the stories of countless adventures.. but these ships, their used, salvaged components, and every DRIFT Faction member each possess an indomitable spirit, standing as a testament to our resourcefulness and adaptability.
While our skepticism towards the UEE runs deep, we don’t seek to bring about their downfall or sow chaos in the galaxy. We believe in striking a balance within our territory, fostering a community that thrives on respect and mutual understanding. While piracy is a known threat, especially in the black, we extend a cautious welcome to those pirates who are willing to abide by our code, granting them a safe haven to trade and rest within our territory.
Within the DRIFT Faction, you’ll encounter a diverse range of individuals, each bringing their own skills, perspectives, and stories to the table. We celebrate the spirit of camaraderie, collaboration, and exploration. We’re united by our shared desire to forge our own path, and make a new life on the outer rim.
So, my friend, if you seek a place where adventure intertwines with moments of respite…
…and are intrigued by the prospect of building a community from the ground up, where your skills and contributions will be valued, we encourage you to consider joining our faction.
Together, we can forge a colony that stands as a testament to our collective resilience and determination.
..and to those who seek to tear it all down?
Good luck.

Roleplay. I encourage a minimal account of roleplay. Having a bit of reason behind what we do helps to build a story, and in my opinion, that makes games more fun.
When our members generally stick with the theme and culture of the faction, that makes the experience for everyone feel a lot cooler. ..and that’s something that I’m happy to bring to the ‘verse, and to our org.
PvP is not griefing. We are not a pirate org, but in the current state of the game there aren’t many real, impactful consequences for death, and the amount of actual loss is currently very minimal.
I don’t see regular in-universe PvP as having political consequences yet. Eventually I think that it will, and once it does, we’re looking forward to taking part in the politics. But for now, no hard feelings! Shoot and be shot!
Have some fun!
