History

History of Deep Space Industries

Deep Space Industries was not born in a boardroom, behind polished glass, or from the pockets of distant investors who never set foot beyond atmosphere. It was born in the black — where fuel runs dry, wrecks drift silent, cargo needs moving, and the real work of the ‘verse is done by those willing to get their hands dirty.

Founded as a new industrial company with an ambitious vision, DSI entered the Stanton system with one goal: to become the name people trust when the job needs doing. Salvage, refueling, transport, recovery, and logistics are more than services to us — they are the backbone of expansion, survival, and profit in deep space.

While others chase headlines, military glory, or corporate prestige, Deep Space Industries is building its legacy through grit, reliability, and results. Every wreck stripped, every ship refueled, every shipment delivered, and every contract completed pushes us closer to our larger purpose: leading the industrial future of the ‘verse.

We are new, but we are not small.

DSI represents the next wave of blue-collar power in Star Citizen — a company built by workers, pilots, salvagers, haulers, engineers, and operators who understand that empires are not built by talk. They are built by labor, loyalty, and crews who know how to keep moving when the void gets dangerous.

Deep Space Industries is here to claim its place among the stars.

And we do not intend to follow the ‘verse.

We intend to help run it.

Manifesto

Deep Space Industries Manifesto

We are Deep Space Industries.

We were not built for comfort.
We were not built for applause.
We were not built to sit idle in the safety of stations while others carve their names into the stars.

We were built for the work.

For the long hauls through dark space.
For the wrecks drifting cold in forgotten orbits.
For the fuel lines stretched between ships on the edge of empty.
For the cargo that has to arrive, the routes that must be secured, and the contracts that need a crew willing to finish the job.

The ‘verse does not run on glory alone.

It runs on industry.

It runs on salvagers cutting value from the dead.
It runs on haulers carrying the weight of civilization.
It runs on refuelers answering the call when tanks run dry.
It runs on logistics, recovery, grit, and the people who keep moving when the void gets dangerous.

That is who we are.

We are the blue-collar backbone of deep space.
The torchbearers.
The fuel hands.
The riggers.
The haulers.
The route runners.
The ones who show up when there is work to be done and profit to be earned.

We do not need empty titles.
We do not need polished speeches.
We do not need permission to build our future.

We earn it.

Every shipment delivered.
Every wreck stripped.
Every fleet fueled.
Every route opened.
Every crew brought home.

Deep Space Industries is new, but we are not here to follow.

We are here to lead.

We will build our name through labor, loyalty, and results. We will turn scattered contracts into organized power. We will turn hard work into wealth. We will turn a crew into a company, and a company into a force the whole ‘verse remembers.

Out here, legends are not only made by missiles and medals.

Some are made with grease on your gloves, a salvage torch in your hand, a full cargo hold behind you, and a crew that refuses to quit.

We are Deep Space Industries.

We keep the ‘verse moving.

And we are taking it forward.

Charter

Deep Space Industries Charter
Purpose
Deep Space Industries exists to build a professional, reliable, and hard-working industrial organization within the ‘verse. Our company is founded on discipline, teamwork, persistence, and the belief that industry is the backbone of civilization.

We are salvagers, haulers, refuelers, transport pilots, logistics operators, escorts, and support crews. We do the work that keeps ships moving, cargo flowing, wrecks cleared, and operations alive.

We do not quit when the route gets dangerous.
We do not fold when the job gets difficult.
We do not abandon our crew.

We adapt, overcome, and finish the contract.

Company Standard
All members of Deep Space Industries are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism, maturity, and respect while representing the company. Whether operating in-game, communicating in Discord, working with allies, negotiating with clients, or interacting with the public, members are expected to uphold the DSI name with pride.

Our reputation is built by our actions.

Every contract completed, every crew assisted, every route secured, and every member interaction reflects on the company as a whole. DSI members are expected to be dependable, focused, and willing to work as part of a larger operation.

Member Expectations
Members of Deep Space Industries shall:

Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner.

Work together as a crew and support company operations.

Follow lawful orders from operation leads, captains, foremen, and officers during organized activities.

Remain calm, focused, and disciplined during difficult situations.

Represent DSI with integrity in public channels, events, and interactions.

Assist fellow members when possible and avoid leaving crew behind without cause.

Approach industrial gameplay with effort, patience, and purpose.

Communicate clearly during operations.

Protect company assets, cargo, ships, contracts, and reputation.

Never give up on a job simply because it becomes difficult.

Professional Conduct
Deep Space Industries does not tolerate harassment, excessive toxicity, discrimination, needless drama, griefing of members or allies, or conduct that damages the company’s reputation.

Members are expected to resolve issues with maturity and bring concerns to leadership when needed. Disagreements may happen, but disrespect, personal attacks, and reckless behavior have no place in DSI.

We are here to build something strong.

Operational Discipline
During company operations, members are expected to listen to assigned leadership and perform their roles to the best of their ability. Whether assigned to salvage, hauling, refueling, escort, scouting, logistics, or support, every position matters.

No role is beneath the company.

A successful operation depends on every worker doing their part. Members are expected to show up prepared, communicate when available, and contribute to the mission.

If plans fail, we adjust.
If ships go down, we recover.
If the route gets hot, we protect the crew.
If the job gets hard, we finish it.

We aim to be known as a company that works hard, honors its agreements, protects its people, and completes the mission.

Final Declaration
Deep Space Industries is more than a name.

It is a standard.

We are professional.
We are disciplined.
We are relentless.

We keep the ‘verse moving.

And we do not quit.
