Echoes of Sol exists to preserve the legacy of humanity, protect its cultural memory, and guide its continued evolution throughout the stars. We are explorers, scholars, guardians, and builders—united by the belief that our past is the compass to our future.

1. Preservation
• Safeguard historical records, ancient technologies, and human cultural identity.
• Oppose censorship, historical erasure, and data suppression.
2. Exploration
• Seek out uncharted systems, forgotten colonies, and lost knowledge.
• Map, document, and share discoveries for the collective benefit of humanity.
3. Protection
• Defend those who cannot defend themselves from destruction or extinction.
• Operate as neutral peacekeepers when necessary to preserve stability.
4. Continuity
• Recruit and train new generations of Echoes.
• Adapt to changing threats, technologies, and ideologies while preserving our core mission.

Article III —- Code of Conduct

As members of Echoes of Sol, we do not simply represent an organization—we carry the weight of memory, the duty of guardianship, and the promise of a better future. These principles guide our every action, in every system, on every world.

1. Act with Honor
Members must uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and self-discipline. We do not act out of greed or vanity, but in service to a greater legacy. Personal ambition must never come at the cost of the organization’s purpose or unity.

2. Seek Truth, Preserve History
We do not distort the past for political or personal gain. Members must treat all historical knowledge, relics, and cultural records with respect and accuracy. To misrepresent the past is to misguide the future.

3. Defend the Voiceless
We are guardians of the forgotten, defenders of those without shield or voice—lost cultures, displaced peoples, and silenced truths. Echoes of Sol stands neutral in politics, but not in principle. We do not seek conflict, but if harm is done in the shadows, if oppression speaks louder than reason—we will answer. We do not provoke, but we will not be provoked without consequence. Injustice ignored is injustice endorsed.

4. Respect Life, Respect Legacy
We value the diversity of all sentient beings and the ecosystems they inhabit. Members must not participate in wanton destruction, exploitation, or oppression, regardless of faction or species.

5. Practice Discretion
Our work is often sensitive and our presence subtle. Members are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and restraint. Recklessness, attention-seeking, or compromising the organization’s secrecy may result in disciplinary action.

6. Loyalty to the Mission
Echoes of Sol does not swear allegiance to political powers, corporations, or ideologies. Our loyalty is to humanity’s enduring story—its memory, its meaning, and its survival. No allegiance shall override this purpose.

7. Embrace Growth, Reject Stagnation
We honor the past, but we are not bound by it. Members are encouraged to innovate, challenge outdated beliefs, and adapt to an evolving galaxy—without losing sight of where we came from.

Violations of this Code will be addressed by the Circle or a designated tribunal. The severity of consequences will reflect the breach’s impact on the organization’s mission, legacy, and values.

Code of conduct is subject to change if agreed upon by the Circle.

Roles (Functional Authority):

1. Circlewarden

“The voice of Sol, trusted with the whole.”
• Access: Full access to all organization functions
• Duties: Strategic leadership, final decision-making, cross-role coordination, sensitive ops, vision-keeping
• Lore Fit: Holds a seat in The Circle, entrusted with the memory and direction of Echoes
• In-game Use: Org founder(s), directors, full administrative control

2. Gatekeeper

“They who open the door to the worthy.”
• Access: Manage applicants and onboarding
• Duties: Reviewing applications, initiating trials/interviews, welcoming new members, setting initial rank
• Lore Fit: Stands at the threshold of the organization, discerning those aligned with the mission
• In-game Use: Handles recruitment, joins/interviews, Discord or Spectrum integration

3. Flamebearer

“Custodian of ranks, roles, and the fire within.”
• Access: Manage members, assign ranks, roles, and oversee internal structure
• Duties: Promote/demote members, adjust roles, maintain internal cohesion, resolve disputes
• Lore Fit: Carries the living flame of Sol—upholding order, balance, and mentorship
• In-game Use: Manages member permissions, role assignment, in-org development

4. Echowright

“Shaper of symbols, voice of our vision.”
• Access: Manage org branding, name, logo, motto, description
• Duties: Update visuals, write content, manage external identity and messaging
• Lore Fit: Crafts the echo we leave behind—through symbol, story, and reputation
• In-game Use: Oversees Spectrum page, branding assets, social presence, internal docs

Ranks (Hierarchy):

1. Echo
The First Signal — New initiates who’ve heard the call. Observing, learning, and finding alignment with the mission.

2. Resonant
The Rising Voice — Active members who’ve proven loyalty, taken initiative, and begun to leave their mark.

3. Harmonic
The Unified Tone — Trusted veterans with deep understanding, often mentoring others and leading minor missions.

4. Voice
The Spoken Will — Division leaders or field commanders, directing operations and representing the will of Sol.

5. Luminary
The Guiding Light — High-ranking members with strategic vision, serving as advisors and long-term stewards of purpose.

6. The Circle
The Eternal Echo — Founders or elected council members. Final decision-makers, spiritual and philosophical core of the organization.
