Emissary Galactic Consulting. Whether you need cargo flown through a hot zone, hands-on running of a hostile take over, or a salvage crew to head into the bad lands and scavenge a prototype component off your last test ship, we have the people to get the job done, no matter what.
2938: Founded by a group of former U.E.E. Military personnel, shipping experts, and bounty hunters Emissary Galactic Consulting begins as little more than a glorified privateer firm that set out to hunt Vanduul and Pirates for profit.
2939: Acquires first long term contract to patrol and protect shipping for a small start up out of Terra.
2940: Expands operations into other legitimate and illegitimate areas, focusing mostly on salvage and smuggling. Is rumored to help run information that impacts trading on three world netting a tidy sum for it’s contracted employer on Terra.
2941: Dissolves contract with it’s Terra based employer, three months later former employer is dissolved after investigators find evidence of them engaging in stock manipulation, fraud, smuggling, and slave trading. Evidence suspected to have come from E.G.C. but never proven.
2942: Emissary Galactic Consulting begins enhanced marketing and recruitment drive. First advertisement featured Augustus Cole doing a simple voice over in front of an Aurora with the EGC logo. The transcript of the advertisement was as follows:
“Here at Emissary we hold to a single idea, we get the job done, period. We do this by always being on the look out for flexible, open minded, and above all skilled individuals who bring their talents to work for you. Founded by an ex-U.E.E. Commander with a shrewd business sense and a disdain for red tape, Emissary works to uphold the ideals of our founder by working in and out of the normal legal channels to achieve the job. While we will never resort to open piracy against U.E.E. interests we are not opposed to getting our hands dirty.
As a company we only care about two things, the job, and the pay. We do the work, then we get paid, plain and simple. Weather it’s cleaning out a pirate den or smuggling contraband goods to a distant backwater we do the job, we do it well, and we do it in a timely fashion with out leaving evidence behind. If we’re getting business because of a news bulletin then something has probably gone wrong.
We don’t do flashy, we simply do the job.” Cole neglected to mention he was the companies founder, time would herald this is a smart move as he was to die no more than a month after the filming of the ad. A potentially damaging turn except for the facts that few knew who the founder was, and his replacement wasn’t as afraid of getting in front of the cameras.
(OOC Note: current history is still subject to change, along with rank names, and lore. This is more or less an outline of how I see it being built.)

Rules and Regulations of Emissary Galactic Consulting.
(AKA the ten commandments of the E.G.C.)
1. We do not engage in piracy against the U.E.E. and it’s peoples, nor do we engage in the trading of slaves, human or other wise.
2. We do the job, we get paid.
3. We don’t do this for glory or fame, that tends to get prices on your head, we do it because of the money. In and out clean and clear.
4. We don’t ask questions about the job aside from the specifics that we need to know to complete the mission.
5. Never work alone, your being paid to get the job done, not be a damn hero.
6. Respect the people you fly with, disrespect is the number one cause of friendly fire and airlock related deaths in the company.
7. Respect the client, at least until we get paid.
8. Always, always respect the job, ignoring this one has a bad habit of being fatal.
9. When all else fails take a breath, clear your mind, and then look at it from another angle, the job needs doing so get it done.
10. Always have a backup plan.
(OOC Note: To put it simply do not pirate U.E.E., legal corporations, and designated friendly ships. Do not traffic in slaves, yes you can board and pirate ships found to be trafficking them, if they are a cargo that we can carry and sell or free in game. I know they crop up in the lore, not sure if they will be an in game thing. Respect the people you fly with, respect anyone in game that hires us for a job, and get the job done. If said employer defaults on payment then they stop being a designated friendly and any time we see their ships outside U.E.E. controlled space you take or slag their ships.)
