History
The History of Erebus Resource Group (ERG)
“The Void Leaves Nothing Untouched.”
The collapse of the old mining boom left thousands of ships abandoned across the fringe of UEE space. Prospectors disappeared. Freighters drifted without crews. Stations were evacuated overnight. Wars, piracy, corporate failures, and simple misfortune created graveyards of steel stretching across the frontier. Most saw death. Someone saw opportunity. No one knows who founded Erebus Resource Group.
There are no public records. No corporate charter. No executive board. Only scattered references buried in old shipping manifests and insurance claims dating back decades.
The first confirmed sighting came in the lawless reaches of Pyro, where an abandoned Caterpillar carrying experimental mining equipment was discovered completely stripped. Not a single hull panel had been cut. Every valuable component had vanished. Flight logs showed no docking request, no power signatures, and no recorded boarding.
The only unexplained entry was a sensor contact lasting exactly thirty-two seconds.

Since then, the stories have only grown. Mining crews whisper about silent ships appearing on long-range scanners before disappearing into asteroid fields. Haulers tell stories of derelicts that seemed untouched until they boarded, only to discover every valuable component had already been removed. Pirates curse the unseen salvagers who arrive after every battle and somehow leave with the spoils before anyone notices.
No one ever remembers seeing them arrive.
Only that they were already gone.
Manifesto
Our motives are simple. Grow.
ERG is close-knit. Members give us all of their time. No member is forced to do this; they want to give their time.
Members provide ERG with their loyalty and dedication. ERG rewards members with all equipment and ships required for members to perform tasks within the organization. What this means is that members are NOT obligated to use their own ships for ERG operations. Any member that provides ships for ERG operations and is lost will be compensated as best as possible.
Charter
Mission Statement: Eagle Rising’s (ERG) goal is to create and maintain an organization with members who are interested in all facets of Star Citizen (SC). ERG’s members are dedicated to each other and spend the majority of their time together conducting operations from mining, exploration and combat operations.
What ERG provides: All operations are conducted for the good of the organization. The proceeds garnered are for equipment and ships that the organization sees necessary to purchase for its members. Which equipment purchased will be done in meetings which are held at least monthly. ERG values loyalty, camaraderie, cohesion, and inclusivity. How it maintains those values is unique to the organization. All members will have a voice in the organization. ERG will provide equipment and assets based on the desires of the collective.
