A silent network of pirates and smugglers operating in the void between systems. We strike fast, vanish clean, and profit in the shadows. No flags. No mercy. No mistakes. The Syndicate moves where others fear to fly — and we never come empty-handed.

History

The East Side Balla Gang traces its origins to the fringes of Cathcart, a lawless pirate haven in the Drake-controlled Nyx system. Formed in the wake of the Kellog black market crackdowns and the tightening of UEE patrol routes in Pyro, a handful of displaced pirate crews and freelance smugglers banded together under a single code: survive, adapt, and profit — at any cost.

Originally operating as independent cells trafficking stolen cargo through the Spider and Leir systems, the Syndicate formalized its structure following a catastrophic double-cross during a weapons deal on Kareah Station. Leadership tightened. Protocols were written. Loyalty was enforced.

Since then, the East Side Balla Gang has expanded its influence across Stanton, embedding fixers within corporate ports and carving smuggling routes through blind nav points and compromised comm arrays. With growing tensions in Pyro and the chaos surrounding Jump Town resurging, opportunity flows like contraband.

The East Side Balla Gang does not fly flags or wave banners. It moves in silence — striking where the UEE sleeps and vanishing where no law dares follow.

Manifesto

We live in the shadows between systems — where cargo has no manifest and credits speak louder than laws.

We take what we want. We move what others can’t.

Out here, power isn’t granted. It’s hijacked, brokered, and bartered.

Trust is rare. Silence is golden. Loyalty is everything.

We don’t run from risk — we carry it past scanners, ride shotgun through fire, and disappear before the dust settles.

We are the East Side Balla Gang. The black market breathes because we do.

Charter

Preamble
We, the founding members of the ESB Gang, establish this charter to unify our interests, codify our conduct, and define our purpose within the chaos of the stars.
We are merchants of the forbidden, brokers of the unseen, and predators in the void.
Through discipline, discretion, and calculated force, we secure our legacy.

Article I – Purpose
The Syndicate exists to:

Acquire assets through interdiction, boarding, and black market commerce.

Smuggle contraband, high-risk goods, and sensitive data through hostile space.

Build a self-sufficient network of operatives, suppliers, and enforcers.

Undermine lawful interference through infiltration, misdirection, and silence.

Article II – Code of Conduct
All members shall:

  • Honor the Syndicate Above All
Loyalty to the Syndicate is absolute. Internal betrayal will be met with permanent and public consequence.
  • Maintain Discretion
Discussions, operations, and member identities remain strictly within the network.
  • Operate with Precision
Violence is not chaos — it is business. Every action must serve purpose and profit.
  • Protect the Network
Aid fellow members when called. Defend Syndicate holdings. Uphold the reputation.
  • Respect the Chain
Orders from higher ranks are to be executed without hesitation. Disputes are handled internally.

Article III – Structure
The Syndicate operates under a centralized council with decentralized execution.

The Inner Circle — Strategic command and judgment of last resort.

Capos — Division leaders (Piracy, Smuggling, Logistics, Intelligence).

Enforcers & Runners — Operational personnel: muscle, pilots, couriers, fixers.

Associates — Recruits under observation or contract allies.

Promotion is based on merit, contribution, and discretion — not rank by request.

Article IV – Engagement Protocols
Piracy is authorized when:

The target is vulnerable or isolated.

The risk is reasonable, and the reward significant.

Collateral exposure is contained.

Smuggling is prioritized when:

The cargo is high-value, high-risk, or embargoed.

The client is verified and the payment secured.

The route is mapped and contingencies are in place.

Article V – Enemies of the Syndicate
We recognize the following as enemies of our order:

UEE law enforcement and investigative divisions.

Rival syndicates, cartels, and mercenary guilds acting against our interests.

Informants, defectors, and unaffiliated threats to our security.

All engagements with enemies shall be swift, decisive, and leave no witnesses.
