History
The history of Exploration, Surveying & Research Industries is as storied as UEE space travel itself. ESRI make a name for itself in the early 2030s, well before space travel was common place. ESRI, in conjunction with the then European Union of Earth, ventured together to survey, not only Earth’s moon, but the near by planet of Mars. This joint project was designed to to test the remote geospatial abilities of ESRI proprietary software, as well as to develop strategic resources within the sector. This project took ESRI from a ground based mapping firm to the leader of the exploration industry.
Key strategic resources obtained from this mission is what ultimately lead to further space exploration from what would become the United Earth Empire. With the resources of Mars and Luna firmly in Exploration, Surveying & Research Industries domain, ESRI quickly became the go to outfit for interstellar resource exploration. While the UEE was quickly expanding to to near by star systems, such as Tera, it was some of ESRI’s earlier surveys that caught the attention of the Banu. The rare mineral trade based off of ESRI’s research proved to be invaluable.
Today Exploration, Surveying & Research Industries remains one of the most prestigious outfits in the exploration of new systems. ESRI’s motto “Exploration & Discovery Driving Our World” are truly the words we live by, with over a dozen jump points to our name and a plethora of planets and moons in our inventory, ESRI is driving the field in both technology and geospatial analysis.

We have pushed ourselves to be the leader in extrastellar exploration and resource management. Through a combination of proprietary software and skilled geospatial analyst, ESRI is truly driving our world via exploration and discovery.
Charter
Through science Exploration, Surveying & Research Industries (ESRI) is changing the pace of exploration and discovery. While working in lock step with the UEE, ESRI remains an independent corporation.
Science, above all others, is both the driving force and the governing body of ESRI. For without the clear lens of science exploration is mearly wondering, surveying inept, and research fruitless.
