History

In 2945, amid the lawless fringes of the Stanton system, the Excalibur Group emerged from a band of rogue pilots and outcasts seeking freedom in the Star Citizen universe. Founded by Captain Cassian Veyre, a former UEE Navy deserter, the group carved a name through daring piracy and freelance exploits, blending cunning with immersive roleplay.

By 2947, Excalibur established a hidden base in the Yela asteroid belt, leveraging its shadows to ambush corporate haulers. Their signature raid on an Argo freighter carrying Hurston Dynamics cargo cemented their reputation, earning both infamy and recruits. The group’s commitment to honor, even in piracy, set them apart from ruthless syndicates like Nine Tails.

In 2950, Excalibur clashed with the UEE during the XenoThreat crisis, siding with freelancers to protect civilian trade routes while seizing opportunities for profit. This duality—heroic yet opportunistic—defined their roleplay-driven ethos, attracting storytellers and thrill-seekers.

By 2955, the Excalibur Group operates as a nomadic fleet, striking from uncharted jump points and trading in black markets across Pyro and Nyx. Their legend grows through tales of heists and camaraderie, a beacon for those who crave adventure beyond the UEE’s reach.

Manifesto

Excalibur Group Manifesto
We, the Excalibur Group, are a Star Citizen organization bound by the thrill of the cosmos and the art of roleplay. Our creed is forged in the fires of freedom, where piracy and freelance work fuel our legend. We are not mere outlaws; we are architects of our own destiny, navigating the stars with cunning and camaraderie.

Our Tenets

Honor in Action: We strike with precision, but our word is our bond. Every heist, every deal, is executed with integrity, even in the lawless void.

Roleplay as Life: The universe is our stage. We weave stories with every mission, embracing characters that bring depth to our adventures.

Freedom of the Stars: No system owns us. We take what we need, trade what we want, and answer only to the crew.

Unity in Diversity: From grizzled pilots to sly negotiators, every member shapes our saga. Together, we are unstoppable.

Legacy of Legends: Our exploits echo beyond the stars. We craft tales that inspire, tales that endure.

Our Pledge
We roam the ‘verse, seizing opportunities where others see chaos. Whether boarding a freighter or striking deals in shadowed ports, we live for the rush of the unknown. The Excalibur Group is not just a crew—it’s a brotherhood, a saga, a legacy. Join us, and carve your name among the stars.
