As the org expanded, members carried their camaraderie into every corner of the ‘verse. Convoys of cargo ships moved safely under the watch of fighter escorts, medics rushed to aid stranded crews, and explorers charted distant systems with the reassurance that someone always had their back. Over time, the name Friends in Outer Space became a beacon: a promise that no matter how vast the galaxy, you’d never have to face it alone.

Today, the org thrives as a diverse coalition of citizens from all walks of life. Whether you’re a seasoned combat pilot, a fresh-faced hauler, or just someone looking for a crew to share the journey, Friends in Outer Space continues its mission—building bonds, protecting one another, and proving that friendship is the strongest force in the universe.

Charter

Article I – Name & Identity
The organization shall be known as Friends in Outer Space (FioS), a collective of citizens united by camaraderie, exploration, and mutual support across the ‘verse.

Article II – Purpose
Our purpose is to foster friendship and cooperation among members while pursuing diverse activities, including:
- Exploration of uncharted systems
- Trade and commerce across sectors
- Security and defense of our fleets and allies
- Humanitarian aid and rescue operations
- Shared enjoyment of the Star Citizen universe

Article III – Membership
- Membership is open to all citizens who value teamwork, respect, and inclusivity.
- Rank and role within the org shall reflect contribution, skill, and dedication—not hierarchy for its own sake.
- Every member has a voice in shaping the future of the org.

Article IV – Principles
We uphold the following principles:
