Fortify, a group dedicated to reinforcing security of vessels or locations and (pro)actively hunting down threats.

Work with us, make the universe a better place!

History

Fortify, originally a group created by a community of merchants,
hiring mercenaries as support on supply runs and cargo transports through hostile territory.
Since no order or rules were applied in those days it was easy for people with ill intentions to get hired and turn on their client.
After many years of merchants disappearing and denied requests to the UEE for official escorts, several mercenaries came together.
Hereby creating Fortify.
Are you ex-military looking for extra cash, a privateer going on the straight and narrow or just someone who wants to leave the universe in a better place than we found it in?
Then come together to protect

Now Fortify exists to defend those who need it and make the universe a safer place for us all, to explore and live in.
We have no politics, no one is worth protecting more than others all they need is to make it worth our time.

Manifesto

The idea behind fortify is that we fulfill support roles and provide extra military prowess to large scale battles such as: repair, refueling and adding to the strength of the military effort by providing extra firepower.
Most of our combined effort (as squadrons or army) will be focused on providing protection for traveling merchants, border planets and supporting large scale battles.
Furthermore individual members can expect contracts for bounty hunting or small scale protection detail as well as support from their own squadron within the organization in the completion of their own goals.

So in short:

  • We support and strengthen
    • Other organizations’ interests, for a fee
    • Military efforts
    • Already existing defenses
    • Fellow members
  • Engage
    • Private contracts
    • Bounty hunting
    • Other organization’s Outsourced missions

To close it off, we are looking for members who have no issue making a profit from war.
We need mechanics to repair damaged ships
folks dedicated to refueling
plenty of fighters to keep everything standing
medics to keep us all alive
cargo ships to carry materials or ammo
and even miners to stock up materials for repair

Essentially, everyone is welcome!

Rules
  • Be polite to one-another.
  • We do not fight among ourselves.

Titles
Admiral Fulfills the role of Commodore until the organization has grown large enough, then it governs the commodores under its care.
Commodore Governs the members and squads under its care.
Squad leader The leading member of a single squad.
Soldier The member of a squad.
Private A free member (under care of a commodore).
Ensign A new member.

Fortify will divide it’s members in squadrons with each a Squadron leader, who each report to their respective Commodore or Admiral for larger battles.
All members are free to choose their own private contracts and are encouraged to assist in their squadron’s missions.
Members can be temporarily or permanently transferred between squadrons or choose to work solo and have the ability to fill in squads with a lack of members.
Each squadron is a group of 3+ members who choose to work together in the future, under the guide of a Squadron leader appointed by the members or their respective Commodore/Admiral.

The Commodore and Admiral are administrative titles as they will be responsible for the well-being of the members under their charge.
They fill the role of solo player if a squadron prepping for their mission requires extra members.
In the event of a large-scale battle they will command the different squadrons.
Depending on the scale of active members the Admiral bears responsibility over its Commodores. This is mostly for organization purposes.
